Encrypted Files
-
My computer and my backup storage got infected by Cryptorbit ransomware two days ago before a deadline, it infected all my documents (jpg,office,video,cad,SKP,pdf...) and it asks for ransom about 50$. I've searched all the forums and everybody says I should pay the ransom or say goodbye to my files(they include everything I own by the way, even my portfolio and cv) because malware encrypts data with a private key. But yesterday I found a program called JPEG Recovery and it recovered my jpg and psd files, so I assume that maybe my files are not unrecoverable. I also founda program for pdf's too but the other and most important files remain encrypted and data recovery tools didn't work for them. Does anybody knows any way to recover corrupted SKP files?

shouldn't all group Encrypted Files have the same Encryption?
is its possible to change the skp file to a file type that you can translate back.
just a thought -
Tried but didn't work. Program recovers only images.

Are you trying to work around the bug or have you removed it and your files are messed up?

You might find some more help in this thread regarding Cryptolocker.
