    • RE: Windowizer

      Hi Rick,
Now here is a ruby I use so often !! Even with its current limitations !
The update looks veryyy promising ! The answers you gave to Fletch are also just the things I need. Sometimes low poly, sometimes high. I usually make a group of the face prior to the windowizer command makes it more easy to change.
Anyway looking forward to the update of your script.
      greetings,

    • RE: [req] double line tool

      Hi,
There is a ruby that already does this : multwalltool31.rb
Make a search because I do not remember where I got it and the rb itself is scrambeld so I can't read who wrote it.

Yes, Morisdov great plugin but I also wonder why when rotating (p.e. doors) it isn't rotating but a sort of (as Kim stated)'shrinking, turning and expancing' movement.

Didier, thanks very much this is really a very handy ruby !!
Now if there was an option for windows it would be fantastic. As far as I am concerned it also could be a 'standard' height for the distance of the floor and height of the lintel. This often changes during the design anyway and can easy be changed with push/pull afterwards.

    • RE: Overlapping Transparent Images

      Hi,
I had (have) the same prolem with the 2.5 D trees I use. I have noticed that if for instance the window and the tree are NOT in a group there is no problem. But if the window is in a separate group (what I usually do for easy editing) it 'shines' thru the 'alpha channeld' tree. (png texture).
Hope it is of some use.

    • RE: Polyreducer Experiments

Whaat, amazing at what rate you keep producing these wonderfull scripts. It would be a real killer application if the mesh somehow could 'remember' its original number of vertices so that when it was exported to a real renderer (Kerkythea, Podium,Indigo,...)the original number of vertices would be exported. This 'remembering' state should ofcourse not affect the speed in SketchUp there only the simplified form would be taken in account. Probably wishfull thinking !! Anyhow, the one your making now would open up alot of (not native sketchup)components for use in Sketchup !! So keep up the good work !!

    • RE: [Plugin] SketchyBevel 0.1(Updated May 11)

Chris, thank you for this very usefull script !!! 😍 Works as far as I can tell (only tried some simple forms) like a charme. Only, one question would it be difficult to implement a choice between inches and cm for the bevel width ?

      Whaat,
Just bought it ! Looked at the tutorial and dit some quick testing.
      Works like a charme !! Great work !! 😍
It is a great improvement on SketchUp as a modeller, altough it is imho still intended as a formost rectangular modeller the occasional 'organic' bit can now be done in an eassy way inside SketchUP whithout using a different modeller.
      Thanks,

      amazing 😲
Coen, would it also be possible to leave the 'knife -like features' on the claw as they where ( I mean not subdivised (and rasor scharp πŸ˜„ ) or is the whole model always subdivised ?

Thanks dtarch, got it now. It was the crtl-arrows function in conjunction with the jpp that did the trick. Sorry for the hassle.

    • RE: NoTwist using Joint PP

I am sorry dtarch, but I still don't get it !
I know how to extrude the line, that is not the problem but how do you get from the vertical plan thus created to the PP road using the ruby ?
I tried all the differt ways to JPP but couldn't reach your result. I clearly missing something πŸ˜• Any clarification ?
