      Looking good so far Ecuadorian!
I think you'll learn a lot trying these different techniques.

      Guys,

      I've got this museum piece:

      AMD Sempron 2400+
      1,75 Ghz, 512 MB
      ASUS Radeon 9600 128MB

I'm looking to buy a new desktop because I can't run any large SU models.
What's the most important issue for 3d performance like SketchUp and Kerky?

      • Dual core? RAM? Or the videocard?
      • Any suggestions?

      Thanks, Ward

Thats a cool model! Very powerful.

      I don't like the purple...
Maybe use dark rusty colors for a battle damaged robot?
Or bright colors like yellow and red to point out the robot is dangerous?

      New one.
First image is the digital photo.
Second image for usage in SketchUp, edited in Photoshop.
And finally the model on the right hand side of the square.

      @ Gaieus
Thanks for the comment. Will do.

      Hey guys,

Added a few new buildings. The building on the left is a Greek restaurant.
The spire in the back is a church that has been converted to a theather.

    • (New York) Real Photographs VS. Google Earth models

      Hi guys,

Haven't used Google Earth in a couple of weeks...
When I went in to take a closer look at New York, I noticed almost all buildings are now modelled in 3D!

I've used some of my New York photographs and tried to find the exact same location in Google Earth.

Please take a look at the enclosed GIF file.

      Http;//www.3dbusiness.nl/source/newyork5.gif

I think Google Earth did a great job! πŸ‘
