It would be very useful for me with working away from home at least two nights a week.
I could have this next to my bed allowing me to work with a mouse.
Why is money always so tight One for the wish list.

Well it works for me, I love it and it's very cleverly done imo.
The main tree does distract a little but it is impressive and at this stage is not overly important really.
It is still there in the top right corner.
Was you logged in?
Good info posted already.
Arne if you look at your model I uploaded again, I created 5 components. That is all you need to model for this and just fit them in place.
I've been waiting patiently for the iPhone 4.
The contract on my 3G finished in January and I decided not to get the 3GS and wait for the 4 and I'm glad I did.
Looking forward to getting my hands on it.
Maybe take a look at Latticemaker by TIG.

If you simply wanted the same modelling as in the image, one component copied along the path, then selected and rotated/mirrored would do it very quickly.
Edit:
Simple model attached. No more than 5 minutes work with 1 component copied, rotated and mirrored.
I use lots of toolbars and very few shortcuts.
Beautiful image.
Are all the shrubs and flowers clip maps?
What type of mouse do you have?
I find you need to set the middle button in your mouse control panel.
For example my Logitech is set as 'click'.
I did it also with TIGs EEBR and it worked very well. I have not posted it because it left a slight valley down the centre when I mirrored the half and I guess that is not required.
Edit: Thought I may as well post the skp!

Roof material might be scaled down, unless that is a common size in your part of the world.
That is in the original photograph if I'm not mistaken.
It is just the decking, balustrade and plants/furniture that is modelled/rendered and photoshopped in and extremely well done also.
Nicely done, it looks very convincing
You get the full features of Groups and Components in the free version.
There is very little difference between Pro and Free. The main differences being file export and Layout. There are a few more but all the modelling tools are the same.
I didn't realise this. I always thought if you had it set one way in your template, that is how it always worked.
Go to Window/Styles/Edit/Watermark Settings.
You can follow a little wizard that will setup what you want.

That would make for a pretty cool speed modeling challenge. (Do they still do speed modeling challenges?)
Yes, here is the latest one:

It's cool and amusing at the same time.
Maybe a ramp could help out the older dogs
Good project.
Fantastic news!
I don't particulary have major problems switching to VMWare to use ACAD, but I would much rather have a mac designed app.
Yep, I thought stinkie straight away also
I like the colours, probably does not even need the stool for me.
The plants look fantastic.
Great render.
Maybe improved if you could see through the water more to the pool sides instead of the mirror effect it creates.
