Hide all objects that are not in the current selection. All hiding operations are grouped as a single UNDO operation.

RE: Bonzai 2.0 released
How about a some kind of BOM? Is there a way to export the objects data - such as name, size, material? And tool like FredoScale - to stretch group of objects?

Too long for such a quality! You can get better and faster results with say SuPodium or Twilight!

RE: Which CAD program?
TurboCAD - very good price, different versions and excellent support for SketchUP and DWG files.

Does SU have any hole pattern functions? I can't seem to find one. I have a line of 120 holes on 1" centers, and I don't want to have to make 120 copies of the circle. This is a simple function in Solidworks, so I assume SU must have something similar.
ameliaMust have??? Free software against 10 000$ Gorilla! And it is simple to apply but under the hood is a lot more! You can select the hole and copy it just like any other object in SU - as was mentioned above. And using rotate while holding CTRL You can make radial array

What about joinery? I'm thinking now how to make it buildable. -

TurboCAD - .stl - Deep Exploration - .skp
I have no idea what that means.
Export from TurboCAd as stl, then open with Deep Exploration and save as skp.
The best results so far for me. Works with dwg from AutCAD also. -
RE: The most unsung of 3D programs...
There is already a solid modeler "aka SketchUP" - SpaceClaim! And a lot of things are much easier with it!

You are right about the surfaces being used more and more. For instance Bonzai3D, and the growing number of plugins for Rhino3D
