That's TIG with the memory. Yes, I did draw that table some time ago. I used a tile from Motawi in the center. It's a fun little table. Your model looks pretty good, David. I did notice the top is a wee bit low on the legs.

I've done SketchUp models and full construction plans for about half a dozen of Chris Becksvoort's pieces. He definitely has a way with the Shaker style.

Hi Dave R, Thank you for asking why the file is so BIG... I think it could be linked to Intersect faces with Selection This is what I did to find the section line between two selected objects. It could be some hidden geometry added. I have to inspect the model...

Probably has to do with periodic server backups or something equally mystical.

Good catch, Jean-Franco. It shows a minor shortcoming with the original plan. The front and part of the sides of the lower case have an applied molding along the bottom. The plan calls for the molding to be made from a 1-in. x 1/8-in. piece. But that molding interferes with the way the legs fit into the case. So for the purpose of the model, I decided to ignore the bad fit. If I were building the highboy for real, I'd add thin pieces around the blocks where the legs fit. And thanks, John Msrk Power, for the nice words about the escutcheons. I modeled them after drop pulls offered by Horton Brasses. They were the closest I could find to the ones sketched in Margon's plan. dh

Compare the overall pixel count (width & height) both in the jpg and in PS.

I get a similar problem at times on my Mac at work, an aging machine. I think it's a graphics card issue, occasionally I get relief by changing the open GL settings. Bob Lang
