Designer Smith Newman http://www.smithnewnamdesign.com/work/product/ripple-faucet/
Water Ball RipplesThe Ripple faucet creates a new, fun way to interact with water. Drawing inspiration from surface ripples, the faucet creates a strong visual relationship between the two. On top of the frosted ripple surface sits a metal ball. An array of electromagnetic sensors detects that ballβs position. Moving the ball in or out from the center controls water pressure. Moving it around controls temperature.
The surface glows red or blue to denote how hot or cold it is. The two separate channels combine the hot and cold water to get the perfect mix. Donβt worry about scalding yourself tho. The water in the hot water channel isnβt actually hot until itβs ready to be mixed via flash heating.

RE: Let the games (Olympic) begin!
What a well executed performance. The scene with the smokestacks, and forging the steel rings was monumental. Really enjoyed it.

I did a couple of brothel designs a few years back - weird in a way! One of them was for a guy who wanted nothing but approval then to lease it as a brothel - the building was previously the head office for a hairdressing chain "Great Cuts". We pulled up at the front and I commented that the sign just needed an "N" and good to go!
The second one was really weird - the madam suggested she wanted one room big enough to be furnished with 3 beds - I had to question! Turns out rugby league players here like to watch each other!
These are ones I'd love to see you do a full color brochure on Richard.

These are great.
Wayfinding is a real art (science) so it must have been not only a lot of fun, but a real learning experience.
Is there signage pointing to the guy with the olympic bagels

RE: The Art of SketchUp - part 1: Fantasy
Your imagination is something to be envied, and I can feel the passion you put into these.
Stunning! -
RE: A Thread for Fine Design
That would make for one sweet road trip, and probably quite economical knowing VW.
I do see a porta-potti needed in the mix though. -
RE: A chance to win a Thea License
Pretty damn fine start Marian.
The Thea forum is really responsive, one of the things I love about this software.
Kepp it up

Hi, dale:
Did you see the lengthy debate about that refrigerator on the website link you provided?Yes, the energy debate.
I followed a few other links on this, and I think the idea of bioluminescence providing the energy, is an interesting concept, this being of course a living organism.
Now how it achieves its "food" for providing the energy, and whether they can produce enough energy is the question.
I do however really like the "out of the box" thinking at Electrolux. Their competitions are always interesting. -

RE: Led iluminated glass treads possible? ( Stairs )
Could you post a screenshot of an example of what your aiming to do.
I'm sure it is doable, and I'm sure there is some expertize in the renderers you named lurking about

RE: A chance to win a Thea License
Yes Marian, congratulations.
You will really enjoy Thea

RE: House with Half Basement
Approach the model the same way you would approach building the house. Start at the basement footing level, and then your foundation.
If you take this sort of logical progression, everything will fall into place.
Please post your progress.

RE: Special Thanks
