Brings back memories of my old drafting table, set up with a swiveling high stool. because of the nature of drafting, and the size of the sheets, quite often you would stand.
I think I could handle this, although I would like to sit on it first and see how it actually responds.

RE: Sketchup, Maxwell and a few built works in the UK
I always enjoy seeing completed projects that have been developed using SketchUp. Great stuff.
You should post a few of your favourite examples directly in this thread. -
RE: Caterpillar
John, I think we all know you have great modelling skills, but If we didn't, we certainly do now.
And as usual the final composition is stellar.
Great work! -

Keep up the good work, and thanks for posting. -
RE: A Little Mid-Century Modern
Hi Dave
Up 4:45 am, Model till 9:00 am, build house till 6:00 pm, maybe a little more modeling, maybe a glass of wine till 8:30- 9:00 PM, down for the count... repeat... repeat... ( sneak in a little SketchUcation, and some grub)
But, as Dad used to say, you dig your own hole
Another Formica retro are those ones that used to come on the chrome kitchen sets.

By the way, love the table

RE: A Thread for Fine Design
I believe there is a bridge in Russia over the Volga River that suffers from the same phenomena.
But I don't think it is as elegant as this structure. -
RE: Some Doors and Windows for you all (Update)
Paul
I found myself (under the usual time constraints) in real need of exactly what you have shared here.
I want to add my thanks, and let you know they are already being installed.
Much appreciated. -

If you live in a mouse-less world, then you won't get this.
(Apparently Sarah Dery did this as a student work, and I couldn't find a link to a website on her.)

A brilliant idea, but I apologize for the link to one of the single worst websites I have ever witnessed. http://www.nieuweheren.com

RE: Sorting Facility
I think this is a well executed example of the effective use of SketchUp to pointedly express a design concept.
Very clearly presented.
Great stuff! -

Couldn't resist another Greece is for Lovers

( P.S. Although this is a photo not a rendering, I love it for the subtle use of D.O.F which I think is highly overused in renderings lately IMHO)
