Looks good! Hide or soften the edges on the top of the smokestack at the transition from straight to curved.

Hmmm, I just tried downloading it now and it worked fine...are you downloading the last item on the page? If that doesn't work, PM me your email address and I'll shoot it over. Cheers!

Oh boy, this model is worse...see the attachment

EDIT: I just mean the Reversed faces problem is worse...the modeling is Excellent!

If you know how to install and use a ruby, this one will make your work much quicker: http://www.smustard.com/script/ReverseFaces Let me know when you have it fixed and also if you have a photo you would like rendered in the background (like I did in the last render)

Hi Panga,
It is from the Sketchup Material Bonus Pack here: http://sketchup.google.com/download/bonuspacks6.html
...Asphalt_Rubber_Black and I changed the scale until I thought it looked good

RE: How to mirror an object in sketchup???
Select object(s) > Right click > Flip along > Red/Green/Blue axis

RE: [Plugin] Control points ver. 1.6.
Wow! Organic modeling just got easier Thanks, Krill!
Is there a way to set each node's position on the curve manually, instead of just being evenly spaced?

RE: For apple lovers
Thanks, Miguel, and excellent renders - especially michaliszissiou's

RE: Art Gallery Design
Looks good - nice design!

Have you given thought to ventilation of auto exhaust in the basement? From what I can tell the only vent to outside is the ramp, then on the other end of the basement the stairwell opens up inside the building - this would cause fumes to enter the building directly.

RE: 10 GUI - The Future of the Desktop?
Neat idea! ...although the touch pad will likely be in the way when using the keyboard - you could accidentally zoom/scroll/etc.

RE: Where are we? [updated]
Its cool! ...for some reason it reminds me of that kids book "Where the Wild Things Are"

RE: Render Challenge New Link- 10/15/09
Here's a Twilight render - 5-1/2 hours on #8. Like Panga said, nice model but some faces are reversed - they show up red in the render (the stake pockets, etc). You can see which ones by going to View > Face Style > Monochrome, they show bluish. If you fix them, I'll do another render - a nighttime one so you can see all of the lights and reflectors

I need to practice, so I have one cooking...I'll post tomorrow.

RE: New (canceled) project...
I love it! ...the tree colors make a world of difference

RE: SketchUp 7.1?
Weld takes connected edges/lines and joins them into a polyline. If you then extrude the welded edges, the joints are smoothed. You can also use it to automatically close a face. You can get it here: http://www.smustard.com/script/Weld

RE: Bathroom - WIP
Its great! Lighting is good, bump on the floor is good, mirror is great (so great you can see the contractor never installed the crown molding on the other side of the room
) Seriously though, it looks good, Adam.
