Hi Don, Try this glass material out: https://www.dropbox.com/s/tglh7ibhafkpacj/Glass.zip
I saved out both a simple standard glass material as well as a more advanced VRayBRDF material. The VRayBRDF is for more close up thickened realistic glass. The Standard material will work on thin single face glass, like what what you would be using on a large building.
To get more metallic reflections bump up the IOR value in your Fresel settings, I find 2-3 gives you a nice reflective glazing appearance.
Try theses different glass materials and let me know how things go!
wondering what i can do to make the glass look better from vray?
should i bother with it with photoshop? or is there something i can do in vray
Thanks
which function should i look at if i want to get all the vertices of the face?
Hi wanted to learn about making plugins and ran into a problem
How would i get information from a selected face? I want to use the X,Y,Z of a face inside a component.
somehow I can't get for the life of me get anything to work
what did you render it in? vray?
very nice btw
really useful plugin
Would it be possible to add an option to pick the source of the shadow ? say I only want to see the projected shadow from 1 component on 1 selected face
Hi there, i am looking for a way to explode all the components in a model.
I tried using bomb.rb but it freezes my model with around 400+ components/groups
Is there any other way of doing this without doing it manually?
