    • RE: Problem with GE imagery import

This seems to be a known issue - 'solar north' and 'GE north' aren't always quite the same thing... don't worry it's such a small amount so as not to cause significant problems - the sunset/dawn is perhaps a minute or two late/early if 'north' is reset model-north - or just leave it alone !
      It's not a 'problem' 😉

      hi, Tig

      I see, thanks again

A bit more info would help and posting this in the plugin's thread might get better exposure to the developer.

      Is it this plugin?

no, this only triangulate,I tried this one also, and many missed faces.

    • 2D shape and Text Labels as 'Components'

'Change in one of components, the rests all follow.'

Add 'Component Tray' Contain: thumbnails, Schedule Labels alphabetically, drag and drop multiples to paper space.

I think these will help indexing, scheduling, and drawing referencing a lot.

    • Some plugins fail to load when open saved models

For some reasons, My SU can load particular plugins only at fresh start of a new model (plugins like SU physics, and a few more). In another word, upon re-open a saved model, these plugins can no longer be loaded.

      My specs: Windows 7 ultimate 64bit, SU7.1, Intel i5, Nvidia 8800GTS, 8GB Ram.

      Thanks for you time

    • GPS coordinates

      hi,

How can I get real world GPS coordinates [latitude, longitude] for multiple components’ origins after I have set the whole model’s global position and orientation?

thanks for your time in advance

      Hi Max,

Scale and Drop (which is basically a Move) are not the same thing. Which do you mean?

If you meant move each Instance so their tops are aligned, you could use the Drop plug-in if you flipped the entire model up-side down and used a temporary target face to drop to.

you know, like piles in marinas holding up all the walk ways, the top of these piles are all at the same level, where the bottoms on the sea bed are not.

plus, I am trying to have all different heights piles as one component,so i think i have to scale them down to the ocean floor?
