    • [FIXED] Rendering transparant png

      Hello all,

I am trying to render a transparant .png image on my model, in the scene it is actually transparant but when I render in vray its not showing up as a transparant image but as a solid.

I have read something about enabling colourtexture for transparency but that isnt showing any result.

      Thanks in advance.

I fixed it by using more segments. Thanks for the comments and help!

Thanks for the replies, here is a screen of the geometry. It is grouped btw but after smoothing nothing changes.

How would one create more geometry?

    • [Done] Sphere with weird displacements?

      Hello all,

I created this 'mushroom' model and by looking at the model you can see its showing weird displacements, even in the render.
Is this normal and if so, how can I make it disappear. Applying a smooth/soften edges on this object isnt possible for some reason.

    • RE: Vray reflection render issue

      @oganocali and the rest.

I am quite new to rendering scenes, so how and what could I add in the scene to get the result.
I understand by adding a object to the scene I will give something to the material to reflect to but what I dont understand is that as soon as I add a reflection layer to a material the complete object will be in grayscale..

Maybe it is usefull to add my scene, download here: http://www.efpp.nl/flatdown.rar

    • RE: Vray reflection render issue

Thanks for ther replies. Running Vfs 1.48.93

I allready made sure override material was unchecked and in the VFB everything is set to default. Allthough whenever i want to save the render to a .jpg it automatically makes an Alpha image of it :S

Also I understand you need something around the object to get a reflection but the problem is that it isnt even showing the orange color I assigned to it, but just a grayscale.

    • Vray reflection render issue

      Hello all,

I'm trying to add a reflection to my material using 'Add > reflection layer"

However when I make a render using default settings it just show my material in gray-scale. No matter what I change in the settings, the output is always in a gray-scale. What could be the reason for this?

Using SU 8 with vray 1.48.93

      Thanks.

    • Question: Rounded corner

      Hello all,

Got a dilemma here, im trying to create a rounded corner coping. As you can see on the image I started on it but i can't get it properly done while using the Followme tool. As you can see on image2 the result isnt a clean shape/face at all.

      How would one do this?
