I really enjoyed watching Norm. My family would hurry home from church on Sundays (pre DVR's, but we would record on VHS tapes when needed) to see Norm. My son and I would recite together, with Norm, word-for-word, the "Safetly Glasses" spiel. He did inspire me when I was learning woodworking. It was him, books and magazines. He certainly sold a lot of tools along the way. I've nothing bad to say about him today (I mean, right now, while I'm writing this post, after 2 glasses of wine).

Instead of post processing the rendering, just keep your camera level in SU. Without the camera tilted up or down verticals are vertical no mater how wide your shot it. Of course that doesn't mean you can still get away with 90-100deg shots without them looking odd. If you want to you can crop the top or bottom of the resulting image (as needed). This basically mimics what happens with a tilt shift lens, used in architectural photography for much the same reason. Trying to fit tight spaces onto a single photo without looking too awkward. Although sometimes the awkward look is nice. I completely different action is to create an interactive panoramic export of the entire field of view. There is a script to export six cube faces, there there is software on mac or PC to turn this into interactive file.

Thanks. I did not model those. I did the majority of this 2-3 years ago. I found the column on the old SU forum and modified it a bit. If I had it in me (which I don't) I would build my own. [image: 37B3_Col.jpg]

I can't tell is that is a steampunk style mash up of odd parts or a working camera actually designed to look that way. The article attached doesn't really make it clear. I'd lean towards the mash up, that would be a difficult camera to use if real.

I tried spontaneously singing and dancing in a public place one time. I got arrested. Some people have no appreciation for the arts.

As I repeatedly say as long as the client likes it, it is a sucess! we often look at things thru a different prism than our clients, we get overly picky and all the while it still is going to blow the client away ... beautiful image and great render, and you got paid, even better!

the lighter one is defo the better image, gives the impression theres some light from behind the observer and that they're close to the other side of the underpass too.
