Hmm, curious but happy.
I restarted yet again and it seems to have fixed it.
Here is hoping.

Yes I realize it changed. I have been using 2024 since it's release. This behavior just seems to have happened min session. It was working fine then not.
I should add that I restarted my computer each time I repaired or reinstalled with no luck.
I installed sketchup 2017 make and all works fine. So there is something gone wrong with 2024 all of the sudden.
I have recently run into a problem. Using ctrl while moving or using the push pull tool does not make a copy anymore. I have no idea what changed. I have tried using a different keyboard with no luck either.
I have run as administrator and done a repair twice, no luck.
I uninstalled, run administrator and reinstalled, no luck.
I am completely stuck. No idea what to try next.
Thanks for any insight.
Well I thought the update fixed it but nope. Back to having issues with the paint bucket tool. meh
Tap or hold down, neither works. Really annoying.
Having issues with the paint bucket tool in 2024. I select the tool then try to use the Alt key to sample a texture and nothing... I try to use any keyboard shortcut and nothing... All I get is the paint bucket itself. Only after I click somewhere with the paint bucket will the keyboard shortcuts work. This is very annoying and messes up my workflow.
Anybody else experiencing this?
FYI I did a repair on the install just now which did not fix the issue.
Here is the finished product.

THANKS.
This was challenging but fun to work on. I made it out of curly cherry. Designed to fit a couple tile samples I had laying around the garage. Patterned after a table I found on the web here:

Looks like a grenade Rich, lol.
Nice workflow.
I am in need of an end table next to my couch and I came across this one on the web. I have a couple spare tiles (13x20) that I plan on using so I modified the design to fit the space. It is not as dynamic as the reference but this should look pretty good. Plus I have been meaning to make some sawdust for quite a while now. Quick Lumion render.
