Cross
I created this glass cross sometime back. Thought I would share.

Trombone
I did this for a friend. He wanted a trombone with a gun sight... you know those trombone players.
The sight is a separate component so if you want to get rid of it... but why would you want to?
Here is his website BTW:

RE: Filmstrip
Oh and here is a quick image of the theatre. I removed the logos and all. I was in the middle of the landscape when the job got put on hold then later canned. And yes those are the correct colors and I did have real movie posters outside.

Filmstrip
Here is a neat little thing I did for a theatre I worked on a few years ago. I was with a different company and the job never went through so I will not reveal the client. However what I did was export the floor plan around the lobby from cad to pdf. Greyed it out then brought it into SU. Then I made the filmstrip and exported it high res. Brought some images of the building that I also did in SU and made a couple of nice presentation boards.
Feel free to use it as you wish. -
RE: [Plugin] menu loader: old thing !
Thanks Didier.
However I get the following error while loading SU:
Error Loading File menus.rb
No such file to load -- Scripts/bomb.rbI have bomb.rb loaded. What am I missing?

RE: [Plugin] MENUS.rb
Alan, there are many more scripts in that zip file. Does one need to load all of them for the Menus.rb to work properly? I would prefer to keep as few rubies in my plugin folder as possible.
Thanks. -
RE: I made a clock
Nice and simple. Now make one that works in SU and you can write your own ticket

RE: Tv-like
Really cool. I will have to give it a go tomorrow.

RE: Open multiple files
@schreiberbike said:
Not sure if this is what you mean, but you can have multiple instances of SU open at the same time.
Unfortunately if you have a network license you cannot open more instances than you have licenses. We have a 3 seat network at our office and we have 5 people who will potentially be using SU. Makes it a pain when I want to copy and paste. Maybe we need a couple more seat

RE: Face me at the center.
I have been making some 2d people and such. You know, inspector Gadget
I am also working on a nifty 3D face me component that I will post when finished.Just messing around really.

RE: Face me at the center.
All fine and dandy but when you create a component and check: Always face camera, the axis is at the lower left corner, always. I want to be able to create a face me component that has the axis at the center of the component. There seems to be no way to accomplish this at the onset of the component. You have to change the axis afterwards.
I guess this is more of a wishlist item. Not really a big one but it would be nice.

Face me at the center.
How do I get the axis to be at the center of a 3d component while creating a face me component? Is there any way to do it without having to create the component then editing the axis?
I thought you just place the center at the origin and create the component but that does not seem to work.
