I look forward to it Will03. Any chance we could get an avatar from you? Where are you from? Is the CANUSA highway in Canada?

Daniel, that does not compare to the amount of chocolate milk my daughter has spilled on it. And it never fails to seep under the glass when she does. Design flaw or not

Coffee Table.
Here is a coffee table I did for my house a few years ago. Real simple design. The glass dictated the size however.
I had a desk top (old door) with a large piece of glass on it. When I did not need the desk top anymore I decided to make a large coffee table for our house. It has been used more for a play table for my daugter than a true coffee table, as you can see by the crayons and Barbie.
I used scrap that I had in my shop/garage. The side rails are mahogony, end rails poplar and "legs" Pine 2x's with a cherry accent. Talk about putting it to good use.
Anyway, I hope someone can use it. Might want to change the colors around though

RE: Manhasset Music Stand
Yes it is the images. If you look at my filmstrip as well it is a bit heavy as well. The model is super simple but the image makes it a large file.

Manhasset Music Stand
I am an ameature musician so I had to model this one.

RE: Rolling Drawing Shelf
I did brand it. I had a custom brand made a few years back.
This is what it looks like, except with Eric Lay in the middle.

Nope, it is a "one off". I have always wanted to use that term.

I love the square plugs, but where can I buy a square drill bit?

Or a corner drill maybe...
Why at the Corner Hardware store of course
Thanks all for the comments. And Maggy (as you probably guessed) regular drill and square it up with a chisel. -
RE: Rolling Drawing Shelf
I used biscuit joints on the side rails. I screwed the end rails in, hence the plugs. For the shelf itself I just used 1/4" hardboard. I will get some pictures this week.
I tell you what, it was so incredibly easy to make a cutting diagram and materials list by doing the model in SU.
This was the first project I did with square plugs. I don't know if it is the right way to do them but while shaping the plugs I shot a few across the workshop(garage) off of my stationary belt sander. It was kind of like Chris Farley in the movie Tommy Boy when he shot the oil filter across the factory.

Rolling Drawing Shelf
I did this one for my office. And it has more than what you see here piled on it now. It slides nicely under my drawing table.
I built it out of poplar and used mohogany square plugs. If I remember to bring in a camera to work I will snap a pic and post it back here.
Enjoy. -
RE: [Plugin] The Homer Button
Thanks Jim. I am still laughing at this one, I love it.

RE: [Plugin] The Homer Button
Funny, thanks.
You also have a jpg in the zip file, where should it go? -
RE: Newbie forum ? just the right place...
Well Masta, if you want to orbit around your model don't you use the center mouse button? The wheel button?
I have the same feeling when viewing model images, I just want to orbit and see it all.
Nice desk Masta!
