SU will open a non licenced version when this happens so it is more of an annoyance than anything. With my single user licence at home it is not an issue.

Matthew, I ran across this site a couple years ago. Glad I bookmarked it. Like Gaieus said I believe all these are 3DS Max models. Now I don't speak Russian as this site is in Russian but you may and furthermore there are pictures. Me like pictures πŸ˜„ There seem to be some of what you are looking for on the front page.
      I hope this helps.

**Edit:**I also noticed that when the front page loads only a few of the pictures load and I see a bunch of red squares. Well if I select one of the picture links and then back up to the front page, all the pictures load.

      Thanks guys!
By the way, can I post the skp file and a jpeg in the same post?

Sure Gidon, check out one of my posts. I have 2 images and a skp file in the same post:
      http://www.sketchucation.com/community/forums/suc/viewtopic.php?f=16&t=614

What you do is browse for the file and when you have it click the "Add the file" button and it will load into your post without submitting it yet. Then you will see your file beneath the area where you just added the file as well as a new blank area to add another. You can add up to 3 files per post. Beside each of these is an area to put a comment next to the file as well.

      Hope this helps.

Wow, that is really nice! I just might have to make me one. I am about to redo our home office.

Here is a picture for those who want to see it prior to download.

Hmmmmm. See images for what I did. The only thing I changed was the back face color.

Also, I am sorry if I seemed a bit argumentative... not the case. Just trying to help.

      Default Blue Background.

Bernard, the process I suggested is the same except with fewer steps. Just change the back color to match or close to the texture on the front. No painting necessary. That is unless you have the front color inside or a paint color or texture inside.

      Gidon, those are very nice.

Can I make a couple of observations (he asks without getting an answer)?

The Old World Coffe Table, the top is off center. Nit picky I know.
Also, when I have a table like that, or anything textured or colored dark I always change the back surface color to a dark one so you don't see the blue (or whatever) bleeding through at the corners. Rotate around the legs on this table and you will see what I mean. Then change the background color dark and go again.

      Cheers.

Daniel, that does not compare to the amount of chocolate milk my daughter has spilled on it. And it never fails to seep under the glass when she does. Design flaw or not ❓

    • Coffee Table.

Here is a coffee table I did for my house a few years ago. Real simple design. The glass dictated the size however.

I had a desk top (old door) with a large piece of glass on it. When I did not need the desk top anymore I decided to make a large coffee table for our house. It has been used more for a play table for my daugter than a true coffee table, as you can see by the crayons and Barbie.

I used scrap that I had in my shop/garage. The side rails are mahogony, end rails poplar and "legs" Pine 2x's with a cherry accent. Talk about putting it to good use.

Anyway, I hope someone can use it. Might want to change the colors around though πŸ˜„

Yes it is the images. If you look at my filmstrip as well it is a bit heavy as well. The model is super simple but the image makes it a large file.

I did brand it. I had a custom brand made a few years back.

Thanks all for the comments. And Maggy (as you probably guessed) regular drill and square it up with a chisel.

    • RE: Rolling Drawing Shelf

I used biscuit joints on the side rails. I screwed the end rails in, hence the plugs. For the shelf itself I just used 1/4" hardboard. I will get some pictures this week.

I tell you what, it was so incredibly easy to make a cutting diagram and materials list by doing the model in SU.

This was the first project I did with square plugs. I don't know if it is the right way to do them but while shaping the plugs I shot a few across the workshop(garage) off of my stationary belt sander. It was kind of like Chris Farley in the movie Tommy Boy when he shot the oil filter across the factory.
