RE: Will "Change" really happen starting Tuesday?
The choice of Palin certainly didn't help, but beating McCain was not a monumental achievement. It was almost like victory through attrition. Had it been Romney though, it might have been a different outcome.

Don't give us too much credit, any democrat would have beaten McCain.

RE: Prince Harry Racism
Speaking of cracks...blacks call whites "Cracker" and "White Bread". Who among us takes offense at these terms? I believe it's intended to be offensive but it doesn't work on me.

Mr. S, I find myself agreeing with you and Ron on this issue, please do not let this compliance reflect negatively on my 'liberal' status.
LOL...I wouldn't want you to hurt yourself. What happens in the forums, stays in the forums.

RE: Funny but sad....
Tom, this is why I reposted the movie without the Fox link; an attempt to remove any spin or slant.

...It's funny how I only ever hear the "political correctness gone mad" cliché rolling out of caucasian (usually male) mouths. I guess it's okay to call a colleague "faggot", "mick", "nigger", "jap" (unfortunately I already know Ron's answer to that one) or "bitch" then? Or do you draw the line somewhere?...
Jackson, I don't consider "Jap" to be any more derogatory than "Yank". Political correctness is nothing more than a mechanism to control thought and speech. And as a member of the politically correct crowd, you've been well conditioned.

David, this looks like it's from the movie Mars Attacks...right?

RE: Prince Harry Racism
Political correctness and the media gone mad, as usual.

...but it seems to me only 3 of us have some interest in it.-me, Eric and you, Ron. I think the rest do not wonder. Lets wonder further…draw, for instantce, in Jimmy Hendrix’s style …And after this clip I am always motivated to work in sketchup…And you?
Youtube VideoI lost track of this thread until now. Watching the video, I especially loved when he splashed the red paint. At first I wasn't sure of his purpose, but soon realized it was Jimi's headband. Thanks for the link to Girabaldi's web site.
I'm always motivated to work in SU.

RE: Chris Picciano - R.I.P.
Oh, my goodness! I'm sorry to hear this. He was so young, too.

We obviously all have high opinion about human race.
The worst thing about it is that these people are the
ones that vote, and they are not a minority. We are.I was going to say this too, Mateo. These people should NOT be allowed to vote. I think Mike Lucey started a thread on this topic. This boggles the mind, doesn't it?
These people actually did vote: EDIT: This is the video without the Fox "spin":

RE: Funny but sad....
Quite the contrary, oh wise one. I am not unhappy with Obama and am looking forward to seeing what he can do. I support him and have confidence.
Watch the video. It's of Obama voters who don't know anything about the way our country is run. A similar survey was offered to be done on McCain voters but Zogby (I think) refused to sponser another survey. The only reason it has Fox's name on it is because you'd never see this anywhere else.
EDIT: anyway I'm just pointing out how this lack of intelligence permeates our society.

RE: Request - A modified Tape Measure tool
Jim, I didn't realize you had updated this little gem...Thanks!!!

RE: Request - A modified Tape Measure tool
Try this. It puts an yellow pencil icon on your toolbar. Click it and you can draw construction lines.

RE: [Request]: RotateByCenterpoint.rb
Todd at Smustard.com developed centerpoint.rb which identifies the centerpoint of selected geometry.
EDIT: After re-reading your original request, Kwistenbiel, I realize you already referred to this script....so never mind!! -
RE: Fee question
Pete, modeling the windows is a breeze with windowizer. Like you say, recessing the windows, doing a 3" offset and applying a transparent texture may work just fine. Site work could take a little time (I find simple triangulation and smoothing works great), but it's all fun, right? Say $500 then?
EDIT: LOL..stopping yourself once you start; that's always been my problem.

RE: Must Have Plugin
As a testimonial, I couldn't get along without windowizer. It would be first on my list.
