I'm having the same problem as Dylan. I've placed the file into the right folder (with the intro.skp file) and restarted SU but, alas, no love.

Thanks Tom! I don't use this texture that much and forgot it didn't tile.

RE: PC to MAC - license transfer?
In my case, I'd like to have SU on both laptops. This gives me time to learn the Mac and still be able to do work on my Sony. But as I type this, I'm wondering that if I were to get a Mac desktop instead of a laptop, then it would be necessary to have SU on my Sony laptop for out of office meetings.
Just musings from a guy.......

And what if I have a PC desktop anda Macbook at the same time? I should be able to run SU on several machines (provided I don't do it at the same time).
Yes, that used to be the way it worked if I remember correctly.
Mike
The idea of being permitted to have SU installed on different machines but only being allowed to run SU on one at a time has always confused me. If the machines are not networked or on-line, what prevents one from running SU on different machines simultaneously?
For example, at some point, I'll be buying a Mac laptop but I'll keep using my current Vaio laptop, so I'll have two. Why couldn't I run SU on both of my laptops at the same time? By the way, I am a single person office and always will be.

RE: SU Artist seeks modelling job...
Ross, LOL. No, my sister's name is not Heather. It's Dawn. Seriously, there is a uncanny, almost spooky, resemblance. Maybe is the watercolor feel of your avatar.

RE: SU Artist seeks modelling job...
Ross,
I've been meaning to say this for some time now: you are a dead ringer for my brother-in-law. Are you sure you're not married to my sister?

RE: Sketchup waybe
At first I thought "Wehby" might have something to do with this, but I think I'm wrong.

RE: How To Prevent "Ragged Edges"?
If you increase the number of segments in your cylinder (and the squished sphere as well) you'll get a smoother look.

RE: Multi-layers wall tool is back !
Didier, Your tireless efforts are very much appreciated. Thank you. And thanks for enlarging the "date" column on your web site.

RE: Most used scripts.
I use PushPullAlongAVector and PutOnLayer quite a lot. Second tier scripts for me are 3D Text (I use SU5 more than 6), 2D Grid and Stair.
I possess 10 times more scripts than I use. Boys and their toys, huh?

RE: Computer for SketchUp
SketchUp can't utilize dual core. The most important attributes for a SU computer are:
- Processor speed
- RAM
- Dedicated nVidia GPU - 256Mb would be great.
It's just that simple, really. Of the three you itemize, I pick #2. I'm happy with my 2 year old Sony laptop: 1.73 Ghz, 1 Gb, 128 nVidia GeForce 6200.
