    • RE: [Code] Printing color range as grid for preprint checking

      Hello Tig,
      thanks for your "colorswatch" script.
I checked it out and it does pretty much what I had in mind.
Unfortunately the script seem to grab just the colors that are already in the Model.
It would be of great help, if one could choose a specific library / Folder like for Instance "Colors" or "named colors" or what ever Library there might be.
Do you think this would be possible ?

    • RE: Color guide printout of Material-Library

Thats the point - its extremely time consuming to produce a color/material guide.
But that`s what Computer seem to do best: to do the same thing over and over again

Unfortunately I am not able to program this, but in concept it could look like this:

      1. draw a group that contains a face in size or shape as you like,
      - divide the face for a Color area and a text-tag area
      - format the texttag

      2. select the desired Tool, let`s call it for now "color/material guide"

      3. next an editor ask for your input:
      - choose desired color/material library from dropdown list
      - choose desired color face and text area inside of the group
      - define desired array of the subsequent color guide groups

      4. the first color and texttag is applied automatically

      5. the script move-copys the group and changes the color and texttag inside of the
group to the next following color

      6. the script repeateds the operation until all colors/materials of the library are
      applied

What`s left to do is to print out the color guide - if you like, grab a scissor and cut out your new color cards etc.pp ๐Ÿ˜„

    • Color guide printout of Material-Library

      Hello everybody,
I spent extended time to select colors from the Material-Library.
To my disappointment, this doesn't mean that I get what I choose ๐Ÿ˜•
Usually the Library colors look quit different in Model and what seems to be right in the Model is quiet different when printed ๐Ÿ˜ฒ .

I need some help here -
Is there a script/tool that let me print out a color guide?

It would be nice to have the option to print out the whole colorset of a selected Library or - as an alternative - a range of selected colors .
(There should be name or ID-number of each color right next to it)

      Thanks for your comments

I forgot to mention, I am working on the German Version of LO.
The Dimensions "mm" and "cm" work fine ๐Ÿ˜„ .
Only if I select "m", LO replies with " (inch) ๐Ÿ˜ฎ

    • LO2013, where are the preconfigured Layoutsheets

      Hello all,
I am just getting familiar with LO 2013,
When generating a new Layout, LO 8 offered preconfigured Layoutsheets like "contemporary" or "modern". Where are they now ? ๐Ÿ˜ฒ is it possible to download them somewhere?

    • RE: SU2013 lines resist to be erased

Hello again and thanks for your comments,
Elisei was right - some lines inside the group where on a different layer than the group itself.
After editing the lines towards the group layer, erasing worked as usual.
I don`remember to have a similar problem before.
Anyway, the layer status should have no influence, if a line is erasable or not.

thomthom , thanks for looking into it. I tried to reproduce this conflict but so far i wasn`t successful on this matter.
I will post the model, as soon as I have a similar case
      Thanks again,

      hello Tig
      got it,
I work on the registry according to your description.
At first I thought i would have just the same as before. ๐Ÿ˜•
After moving all toolbars again to free float a glimpse of a toolbar shoed up in the upper left hand corner.
double-click on it and there it was โ˜€ (hidden with a couple of other lost workhorses)

Thanks for your great help - i wouldn`t have managed this with out you. ๐Ÿ˜„

      Hello Tig,
thanks for your help - I appreciate

just do make sure this has no impact on the current problem:
I am working on PC, not MC. As far as I remember, there is no option in the skechucation tool to choose between Mc / PC download.

I got the submenu, so I can work from there.
I tried to follow your suggestions, moving the '2d#.rb' back and forth, restarting , checking and unchecking - but the toolbars still don`t show up. ๐Ÿ˜ž

greetings from here and again thanks for your help
