I dont know what is happening but Zorro 2 is constantly failing to make any cuts here.
in fact, sometimes it ABSOLUTELY refuses to cut anything... even simple models, be them grouped or completely exploded. It starts creating the line, but I click the other end of the line but the line doesnt goes away... it like if I was not clicking.
which of the multipliers? The ones INSIDE the Background Texture dialog box? Or the one at the side of the Background M, at the Main Environment dialog?
EDIT: forget it... I adjusted the multiplier INSIDE the texture box and it worked (funny, I SWEAR I had done the same thing yesterday with no results).
Now, I just need to understand how to use skies at VRAY. The manual doesnt explains VRAY´s mapping.
I downloaded a few skies from here: http://www.cgtextures.com/ (inside the Skies 360 folder)
I downloaded both the normal images as well as a few Cubic360 panos.
The cubic format it utilizes certainly is not supported by VRAY. Now... WHAT FORMAT of cubic is supported by VRAY? The one from the site got all mixed up.
And the normal pano... if I set as spherical, it also occupies 360 degrees vertical (and gets stretched), since it should only occupy 360 degrees horizontal on the upper half... line above the horizon.
for some reason, this does not works for me.
whenever I use a bitmap image on the background, when I try to render, I get a BLACK background!
I want to create some space age habitats... what I want to know if there is a plugin that could take for example a terrain surface and "roll it" or "curve it" so it can become the inside of a "halo type world" or the inside of a "Rama like habitat". (for those who rea Arthur C Clarkes Rendezvous with Rama)
obviously I do not intend on creating something as complex as these... but something similar would be very interesting.

Didier, I think the best thing we can do is to offer a package WITH THE SAME PLUGINS, WITH THE SAME TOOLBARS, and in several languages (the brazilian and portuguese forumers here can help translate plugins into portuguese)... and then we make it available FOR FREE.
one of the reasons brazilians may buy HIS package is because he translated everything to portuguese, and many people are not good enough in english to use english plugins.
in the moment we give FOR FREE what is already free, but also make it available in more languages, and with the nice toolbars, we literally dismantled his market. 
ps: i think the most irritating thing is that he is not even charging a moderate value for his work of drawing a few icons and "searching plugins on the internet" and translating them. He is charging A LOT!

although he DID translate and created toolbars, I dont think thats enough of a work for him to charge money, considering the most hard work was the scripts themselves.
yes, he created several scripts too. I dont know how good they are and if they are worth money, but certainly, if they are good enough, he can sell such scripts and even more, sell to non brazilians too (through SMustard for example)
anyway, if he doesnt agree with all that, one thing we CAN do is to put him out of business in a simple way, without needing to resort to judicial means.
How? Simply by we creating a package just like his package, with THE SAME SCRIPTS, all translated to portuguese, with his icons (lol, ladrão que rouba ladrão tem 100 anos de perdão), and distribute it for free (obviously). We announce the package everywhere. Nobody will buy his tools anymore

I am also from Brazil (actually, I live some 40km from Edson, while this guy lives in another state), but certainly, Edson, being an architect and teacher, would be in a much better position to kick the guy´s ass!
I hope this was the right forum to post this... I did it since several of those plugins were created by people on THIS forum.
I dont find it cool that the guy is charging money for plugins created by you, which are free! Ok, he also created his plugins, but then, he should sell them SEPARATELY!
And many of the ruby plugins were created by you guys!
Only thing he did was create icons for them all and translate the plugins to portuguese.

where can i get the house model displayed on the PDF tutorial? I really like that house and would like to study a bit of american architectural conventions.
thats quite nice, but you cant render it with VRAY, because VRAY doesnt recognize section planes. When you render in VRAY, you get the 4 planes with roofs, rotate one over the other.
cant you just really cut it all? Dunno if Zorro can do it...
I must be sincere about my dumbness. I dont understand what exactly this plugin does and what uses could it have.
Any example of what type of modelling is made easier by the plugin?

olá, sou a mesma pessoa que criou o tópico. Fazia algum tempo já que eu não vinha a este forum. Pelo jeito, minha conta antiga foi suspensa por falta de uso... ou algo similar? Tive que me cadastrar de novo.
as coisas não correram como eu havia planejado e por esse mesmo motivo, acabei não telefonando pro Edson, pois tive que postergar meus planos. Agora, tendo que registrar novamente, inclusive perdi minhas antigas PMs, onde estava o telefone dele... 
@Duro: quando falei da Unisinos não estava falando especificamente do curso de arquitetura, mas sim da universidade como um todo. As informações que eu tenho são de que ela tem cada vez menos inscritos no vestibular, que a Feevale tá crescendo muito mais, de que está passando por dificuldades financeiras, etc. Pelo menos os professores do curso de Psicologia não param de reclamar da Unisinos (minha namorada faz psico na Unisinos e conhece bem os professores do curso).
Agora até o DCE pegou fogo!! 
Mas é bom saber q o curso de arquitetura da Unisinos está a toda. Gosto muito da Uni, q foi onde me formei, e quero que ela volte a ser a potência que era.
