I haven't figured out yet how to apply the movement to all instances. I thought if I animate one then do a Skatter the animation would inherit but it didn't.
More play time needed....

If you embed the plant into a component, and then duplicate that frame component, then all of them should move the same.

That's cool.
Will it be possible to animate the vertices with for example a sinus curve for some ambient motion of plants and leaves?For components, is it possible with some random time adjustments so they don't move all exactly the same?

I believe animated proxies is already possible in Vray (with vrmesh animated in another software)

I know what you're talking about, but I'm a Thea user... I just had an idea of what I'm going to try with Animator.

quick test using Thea, bit of a pain in the arse as thea only renders 7 frames at a time.

Solo - another good example of using a rendering engine in combination with Animator. I have Twilight-Hobby so I am going to have to step up to another rendering engine.

Not sure if it ever was released, Tavi (TBD) was the author.

This is a work in progress but I am attempting to show how you can use scenes and layers to show/hide object in your animation.
My ultimate goal is to be able to show water and foam spraying when a car is going through a car wash. In this one, I just made a stupid looking little object to represent the water spray.
I will have to find a cleaner way to show the shape of the spray and a better texture to use for the water and foam.
Now if I could just find a way to animate the texture
Anyway, the object here, as I said above, was to show that you can make objects show up and hide by altering which scenes and layers are visible during any part of the animation. If you watch, you will see that I added views at different points that capture the screen with different layers activated.
Hope this gives some of you some other creative ideas.
