Hello Fredo,
Thank you again for the plugin. Regarding the output of images / render: I am currently working on a very heavy project with complex elements. I found a way to work around the restrictions on exporting directly with Vray, although very time consuming: I group all the moving parts, then copy paste each position (through the positioner) into a new file. I end up with a lot of scenes, one for each frame and the non moving parts are on a different layer. I litteraly can see the animation as going through each scene. Obviously, at this point, the animation is ''locked''.
The major advantage with that is that I can use GPU render, can use render elements on V-Ray etc...
My question is: would it be possible to automate that process, create an option to export all the moving parts in different scene. I understand it can create hundreds if not thousands of scenes but it would be so helpful.
I can imagine there would be a technical limit (like, exporting 200 scenes max). Then it would require to create multiple files (one for scenes 001 to 200, then 201 to 400 etc), but in theory, such an option would be fantastic.

Animator 4.2a is a major release for:
- improvements of Video Generation
- some bug fixing
You can now interrupt a video generation to finish it later.
Simarly, if the video generation is interrupted by a crash (or freeze) of Sketchup or the rendering software, you can resume the video generation from the last frames processed. No need to generate all frames again.

Is there any way of getting V-ray cloud rendering to be compatible with the Animator plugin?

Not in current version.
But I finished to implement both Batch mode and Cloud mode and will publish soon a new version of Animator. Actually, I just need to have the team from Chaos clarify a few points. -
New Release: Animator - v4.3a - 15 Mar 25
Requirement: LibFredo6 v15.2a
Animator 4.3a is a major release for:
- Introduction of Batch and Cloud mode for VRay rendering
- some bug fixing
The rendering with VRay has 2 additional modes
- Batch: This allows to register the frames and generate them in Batch, which is slightly faster and allow to continue working in Sketchup.
- Cloud: Automate the submission of the animation to Chaos Cloud web site. When, the job is completed, just finish the process to generate the video file(s).

I already installed the newest version of Animator V4.3D, When I try to open it, it said " this version of animator has expired please upgrade to the latest version....." I open the link of sketchucation, but it is still for V4.3D download. however I already install it.

Will the expiration date be extended from 31may 25 as is no longer plays etc

Hello i am having the same problems after the update as James. I have allready reinnstall everything, including Sktechup it didnt help. Is there a soultion to this?

your animator is so important for me so please pay attension to expiration date of your animator version.
animator is the very important reason I still use sketchup.
and I believe 99% people in this world still not realized how important animator useful. -

I have Version 23 of sketchup i still cant get the latest update to work i have uninstalled & Reinstalled but not joy
I have tried putting an earlier version (IE 4.1 etc ) this loads with toolbars but warning states it need updating
is it possible to have an earlier versoin with extended period if this does not workThanks

sorry fredo , i had appologised & thought replied to my post saying i had got it working it once period extended (it was down to having an earlier version of your reference tool )
