[Plugin] Selection Memory
-
Thanks, Thom. Most useful.
-
Thanks Thom!
You could add it to your already marvelous set of tools in 'selection toys'.
That's it!
I'm all out of keys on my keyboard for another shortcut for such a good tool. either I scrap some short cut I barely use, or I'll bump it up to them less used Shift+ and Ctrl+ shortcuts -
Buenos Dias.
If I want to revert the "selection_stack size" to default which number would be; or by removing the plugin it will go back to default?
Thanks.
-
If you reinstall then it would revert back, yes.

This be them bombz.
Big up yourself, sir, etc....

Hello
Please how can I modify this constant: SELECTION_STACK_SIZE ?
Thanks -
You'd have to open the RB file in a text editor and change it.
-
Thanks Mister Thomthom, I tried that and when I opended the file (tt_selection_memory-1.1.0.rbz) with a notepad as a text editor it shows me that somthing like that :
"...‚e[.òÈÄ4úõå‡wK?\¾…Z^MHxDËv·ñ;öOã.h†îm¤Ë*ÊÑ04a8Ûd&U´9ynV+ÒP«0 CLú5:i Ÿ9eÎÁÛôˆÌ¤G¾M˜÷‰..."???
-
RBZ files are really ZIP files. They are used to package the extension for distribution - but are unpacked when installed into the Plugins folder. Either you need to find the rb file in the Plugins folder and edit that. Or extract it manually and edit the RB file.

I made it finally Thanks a lot!

Thanks!!, Says The fella with 4 thumbs & 2 happy trigger fingers.

OK, I'm a bit dumb.....
Exactly how do I cycle back through the selections?
I mean what buttons do I press?
It is installed and active. -

You select couple of entities and make an 'accidental' left click to empty space, then retrieve the previous selection via Edit > Cycle Previous Selections (up to 5 times)
But I suggest checking this plugin for more advanced selection features: Selection Manager

Thanks. A bit tedious going that route, so I made the "Q" key a shortcut.
