[Plugin Library] LibFredo6 - v14.9a - 06 Dec 24
-
I've seen the same sort of message in the past. The solution that worked for me was to go to the Plugins folder and delete the LibFredo6 files including the folders. Then reinstall the fresh version from the Pluginstore.
Evidently, some file wasn't getting overwritten when the newer version was installed over the old.

Thanks but I try to it more than 2 times, additionally i uninstalled sketchup and delete all files related with it. My problem comes from asci chracter of computer username. With new update of libfredo 6, libfredo 6 settings has been seen under windows menu. But plugings gives error whicg i said before msg.
Additionally, another computer of mine (which hasn't got asci chracter of username) which i use libfredo 6 and most of plugins. But when i install shapes pluging, it start to give load error msg:
-
Uninstalling and reinstalling sketchUp was an unneeded step.
As for the Shapes plugin, where did you get it?

While other plugings works well for the shapes plugin, it gives load error msg another computer of mine when sketchup is opennig.

That didn't answer my question.
Just forget I asked about it.

At the moment, only LibFredo6 and FredoTools has been corrected for the problem of non-ascii characters.
So are you sure you dont find it?
- the menu is under Tools > FredoTools
- there is a toolbar with a single icon showing F6

Could you show a screenshort of the "check For Updates" of LibFredo6.
Also, can you check the footprint of plugins in the SU Plugins directory where you installed.
Thanks

Eozel,
Thanks. There is also a Trace log utility in the LibFredo6 menu.
Could you check or send me the txt or a snapshot after expanding the list. Also the date of last check (1 Jan 1970) seems to have a problem. I have to check
Thanks

Very strange.
Could you do 2 things:
-
Type the following commands in the RubyConsole and tell me the result
LibFredo6.sudir
LibFredo6.path
LibFredo6.folder
LibFredo6.appdata_dir
LibFredo6.defparam_dir
defined?(FredoTools) -
Remove the Fredo6_Fredotools.rb file (it is of no use actually, just for EWH compliance), exit and restart SU and see if you see FredoTools now
Thanks and sorry for these problems. You support is helpful

nil- I removed Fredo6_Fredotools.rb file, exited and restarted SU. But there is not fredotools.
I think there is another problem on my pc or windows settings, etc.
Thanks for your supports

Thanks.
Could you show the footprint of the Fredo6_FredoTools folder. You may simply have a file missing (with extension .plugin).

Eozel,
I think I found the problem.
To be sure, could you copy the attached file into the Fredo6!_LibFredo6 subfolder and restart SU

Eozel,
Thanks very much. We are progressing
-
for Parametric shapes, this can be a similar problem with non-ascii characters, but that's not a plugin of mine
-
For RoundCorner and possibly Curviloft, could you replace the following files in the SU Plugins directory
Fredo6_RoundCorner.rbFredo6_Curviloft.rb -
For Curviloft, there may be an additional problem.
Anyway, once this is solved, I will republish the scripts.
Thanks again
