Here's another update [3rd of the day!]
            http://forums.sketchucation.com/viewtopic.php?p=217663#p217663
In this one the FR lingvo file has been updated by Didier Bur...
I knew that Extrude Edges by Loft == Extruder des arรชtes par 'Loft' could have been put much better [my franglais ain't so good... !]...
But Extruder des arรชtes par profilage entre courbes is not half as snappy ??? ๐Ÿ˜‰
The Spanish disponiendo is quite near 'to loft' - when taken in the 'naval architecture' sense of 'to lay-out a hull of a ship' - which is where I believe 'loft' comes from ?
            Anyway whatever fits is best...
            ๐Ÿ˜„
            Enjoy...

Better is "Tendre une surface entre 2 courbes" and more poetic ๐Ÿ˜‰
(tensile structure) a loft between 2 curves

Shall I leave you FRench purists to ponder ?
It's easy enough for you to edit your own FR lingvo files to say whatever you like - just open with Notepad and do a Find/Replace on the offending phrase and insert what you prefer...
Extruder des arรชtes par profilage entre courbes

                  your
Tendre une surface entre 2 courbes
                  or
                  Maillage entre courbes snappier
                  or
                  Courbes vers maillage ???
It's your language, so say it how you like...

Even EN-US users can even reword what their English version says, so
                  Extrude Edges by Loft
                  could be edited to
Loft a Mesh using Selected Curves
which is perhaps a more accurate name, but personally I am now 'stuck' with the EEby... epithet for these tools. ๐Ÿ˜’

fantastic, yet again... and it works even on my Mac...

so a question about spacing of interconnects.

can they be set equal, i.e. distance between lines A and B = x equally spaced new lines?

Because it's a 'bezier' curve that joins the curves the segments are not evenly spaced: however, some have asked if the 'segments per section' could be set individually - I am thinking about that... ๐Ÿค“

I find "Edges by Rails" to be by far my favorite of the set. I find it has the most predictable and satisfactory results.

                                    Hi TIG,

Do you think that you could add the date to the topic title when you update them? I find myself checking it daily to see if you've updated the toolset.

With the frequency that you bang out revisions it's hard to keep up with you ๐Ÿ˜ฒ

The zip has the date as its name e.g. extrudeTools_20100312.zip and I do add an announcement to say it's changed and a link back to the base page, and I do add announcements to the individual tools' page too - linking back to their base pages, which in turn link back to the zipped set's base page. I stopped adding the update's date or version rference to the threads title because I kept forgetting to change it when I updated the zip ! ๐Ÿ˜’ By putting the date in the zip's name I avoid that error...

The very few users who reported these problems should try this update and see if they now have a fully working set...
