@kentucky said: Griffith, I am currently working on a water treatment plant project, everything in it, pumps chemical storage feeders, controls, etc. I spent several days searching for the fittings and valves. I ended up buying a cad library from cadtoolsonline. It was about $200, worth every cent. You will need to model the bolts. I just made several different rings of bolts for different size fittings. You can download the demo and try it out. Demo has up to about 6", full version up to 48". I checked to make sure that they just weren't scaled up from one size to another, doesn't appear to be the case. I'll try to post some screen shots of the fittings and valves soon. PM me if you have questions. My Hero ..this will save me a lot of time specially for the non scaled up pieces thanks for the link I will consult this with my wallet haha

Hey All, A couple of people have asked so I'll clarify here: Bundle 3 contains half of the same trees included in each of Bundles 1 and 2. (If 3 is more popular than 1 & 2, I'll be switching to that format for all future offerings.) Sorry for the confusion. Best, Tom.

I used to have a little freeware ap that would put a watermark image on a batch of images all at once. I used it before SU6 to put a watermark on images export from a model. I wonder if I could find it again.

I didn't know about that program, thank you for bringing it to our attention. It seems that a Paint.net user has developed a "watercolor" filter that shows some promise: http://paintdotnet.forumer.com/viewtopic.php?t=2392

Opps, I've just realised that I used the wrong style, I put the new one in the folder but forgot to flush the old one out of the model I'll have a go later with the new one.

@arail said: This is a useful site http://www.defcon-x.de/c4d/textures but notice they're very heavy files so they have to be sampled down. Luis - those images are beautiful. Can I use them in my next stair model? Hi arail, Of course you can ! These textures have been found on the web.

I've found that if I do the exports without orbiting or zooming in SketchUp or in Kerkythea and leave the resolution the same, it's pretty simple to get the alignment exactly correct. for thse images I did both at screen size.

Dear Xrok1, I do not render myself, so it was really interesting to see one of my models processed that way. Thank you. Kind regards, Bob

Toxic, Nice work, I like it. This kind of design is very popular in mobile phone showrooms. Where do you plan to obtain fittings, have them made or buy finished ? I do a lot of retail design and did a couple of similar interior designs. Here is a good recource for similar shop systems I used on one occasion. Two series Fluo wall and Fluo partition: http://www.fluosystem.com

@xrok1 said: nice, thanks, did you post them on 3Dwarehouse as well? Thanks. They're pretty basic so they can be modified easily. I have not posted them 3D Warehouse. Just here as a contribution towards a component I borrowed. I'll contribute some more things in the future.

We've not used that in our office. It's usually too much detail for top plans.
