Markus - way cool job!! Will the work you are doing eventually be shared on the main Martela site? I have a library of sketchup files I created from converting the gdl library to 3ds and importing, but some of the models are not very efficient. I am curious about your work for interior designers - are you allowed to expand a little on what you do? I am a designer by education, but gave up the everyday practice about 5 years ago to work more with computers. Thanks for sharing! Bytor

Dear Remus, i have watched carefully those videos you tell me about: Subdivide and Smooth Tutorial Part1 Subdivide and Smooth Tutorial Part2 And: SCREENCAST.COM SubD2_Chair SCREENCAST.COM Pilow Ok, i have understood the overall functioning, but i must tell that i "rest on my hunger" (french expression). We would really need need at least a reference quickcard to exploit Subdivide and Smooth finely.

Dont know if this was what you were asking for, Jim, but to create objects that seems to be painted with different colors, you can do this: Turn on "Color by layer", face style "Hidden line" and line color "By material" in your standard crayon style, and get a result like the one attached. As far as I know, this works with all styles, and I have this as my default style when working on floor plans and such (though not crayon style ), and each type of object in a separate layer (chairs in one, tables in another and so on). // Olle [image: 1rp5_Crayon.png]

Al, That would be great. Our existing libraries, as I have said are outlined carefully and sparesly in a low poly fashion. Would your script work with the existing low poly outline together with the high poly version or would your script require that the low poly version is just the image file? I would really want to be able to offer both the low poly outlined version as well as the high poly. Perhaps 3 layers?
