Word to the Brits!

Truly heartwarming. After all, even one drop raises the ocean.

Hey guys, I just now remembered to check the Corner Bar. Thank you all soooooo much for the special birthday greetings. Blue Men do Who...WHEW!!!!!!!! (thanks Ross) Tom-next year will be the first anniversary of my 59th birthday.

doen a quick search, and first of, its anti spyware, not anti virus, so thats why you wouldnt have found it on any of the comparison sites. sources: http://www.adwarereport.com/mt/archives/000091.html http://www.download.com/Microsoft-Windows-Defender/3000-12771_4-10353597.html http://www.pcmag.com/article2/0,2817,1926597,00.asp admittedly, it doesnt get as bad reviews as i had previously suspected, but its certainly not the cream of the crop.

Wow. I totally missed this thread. I fear that I might get flamed but here goes. I read the article, and I feel like some things were lost in this thread: @unknownuser said: Over sixteen-hundred viewers watched his attackers taunt and punch him around the head on YouTube, the most successful video broadcast website. Yet no-one used the complaint system to have it taken down. We did and it was removed. @unknownuser said: However, the brands have all told Panorama that they knew nothing of the adverts - and have since ensured that they have been taken down. @unknownuser said: Almost all blamed rogue advertising networks for putting them onto the website. Both Carphone Warehouse and O2 have sacked the advertising networks responsible. @unknownuser said: "Upon investigation, it transpires that one of our online advertising networks mistakenly advertised TalkTalk on Pure Street Fights due to a technical error on their part. This was a breach of contract and we immediately cancelled out contract with this network." An "open system" like this can be hard to move quickly. It appears the voices are being heard. I'm not defending Google, they are a big company. I am defending our voice. I'm sure they have caring people on their staff. If you don't like what's happening, write a letter to them and their advertisers. This forum is a great example of those voices.

@al said: Can we add an RSS feed to the forum? I had a look at the "addons" for phpBB 3 and there are developments. Once we finish with the transfer (and upgrade to the latest version) we can start experimenting with stuff like that.

I would´nt say no . (((((((( in hope ))))))) :

As Chris mentioned: it must have been a great fun! But seriously speaking; thanks for sharing this - I'll be more cautious with file sharing.

thank you guys! although i am a year older, i haven't lost my SU-skills no, even better, yesterday i made my first steps with layout, and i am impressed, even if it is still a beta.

thanks g!

Incredible.

Oh man, classic. (Flashback) Thanks Cool

i see the migration..i can search old posts, but of course none work and i'm not able to post b/c i'm not joined or something...

Stick a fork in it...it's done...Ok now complainers like me can get on with the migration. (insert the sound of my hand over my mouth as I keep my self from saying anything else).

thank you all. just imagine the amount of good stuff from this forum there will be to remember in 2008! edson

Hi guys, the final migration is planned for 12 MST (U.S. Mountain Time) today, July 9th, and the old forums will be decommissioned then. I know, sadly this time has come. I hope you'll stop by the Groups now and again to see the updates we're planning, and I sure do appreciate all of your contributions to the old forum. That's where I first met you all! In the meantime, there will be a redirect from the old forum link to the new Groups link when the migration is complete, and I'm sure I'll see you all here. Cheers, CraigD

cheers frederik, seems a lot easier than i thought it might be.

Mike, The interesting thing is that if you look very closely at that 1st image there's actually a scooter in the background. Jackson

sweet

I'm also sorry to hear that Gaieus. Edson - I think I'm around the same latitude as you (28.5) and we are experiencing a cold winter. The mountains inland from me are getting severe frosts and the snow in places.
