Although I never actually entered the run, I did run down that hill quite a few times in my childhood. Oh, and rolled down it a few as well. Some aged relatives lived in a tiny cottage somewhere on the hill and I got to visit during summers spent with my grandparents- so long ago that it was even before anyone walked on the Moon.

My alternative approach using ASCII characters... : ) ... Large, but 2116 characters [image: 3ryB_MonaLisaLarge.jpg] Medium, but 564 characters [image: 468X_MonaLisaMedium.jpg] Small, 140 characters - BUT you need to squint a bit... [image: 1Sf6_MonaLisaSmall.jpg]

Eric, I would think that if school kids saw their teachers grinning like that, they would be afraid, very afraid.

They should share the money with all of us in the EU who bought AMDs As the EU only has about 500 million people plus some don't have computers and others have Intels then the sum would pretty nice Ok just daydreaming

I have found something new. There is a successful attempt on replicating an effect used in a patented Howard Johnson magnetic motor. The patent No. 4,151,431 was granted in 1979(!). The author, nickname 'Mylow' has posted several videos of his crude prototype. I have attached the most convincing of them. [flash=425,344:219vqq4n]http://www.youtube.com/v/2sCeQ8bwmcE[/flash:219vqq4n] EDIT: It has been debunked. In this video he was using a thin fishing line to rotate the motor.

Anyone driving around aimlessly in a black BMW with tinted windows, in the middle of the day is either a footballer's wife or a drug dealer. There's a lot of both in my neck of the woods. Judging by the number of such vehicles out and about, you'd think CIA Langley was just down the road.

The first one is like it was designed by Fred Bartels. I like it (although the colours... I'd not really like to drive it). The second one is like my mom's old Singer sewing machine with a new polish and combined with a mosquito. I also like it. The third one comes from Star Wars. Too "realistic" but I still like it.

What scares me the most is that some people will undoubtedly try and peddle this site as a good resource.

... and here's a shop to match on the main shopping street of one of Edinburgh's nicer districts. [image: 7kvq_weeshop.jpg] 40"(1016mm) wide at the front, tapers to 18" (457mm) wide at the back and 4'6" (1370mm) deep (but the cellar's HUGE lol). The photo looks ancient, but it was only taken 24 years ago. It remained a coal supplier until just a few years ago- yes, someone actually sat in there taking orders- we always used to peek in when we passed to catch a glimpse of the poor (but obviously not claustrophobic) soul. Now, sadly it's just the novelty display window for an estate agents/realtor, but at least it still has a genuine function. http://www.corstorphine-trust.ukgo.com/CorstorphineTopics/TheWeeShop.html
