I mean I was jazzed when Pete showed this in Boulder. . . and I knew I was going to drink the kool-aid as it were, but seeing what you guys do with this and comparing it to where I am at. . .I gotta ways to go. So yes. .. I am committed. I mean. . .I put out the $$ so I gotta learn it. . but it's going to be a while before I am confident in doing cool cars, or cannons or that kinda stuff. Please stand by!

About Fracking in France. Here is an important video (created on 26 janv. 2011) taken at the National Assembly of France A question relative to Hydraulic Fracturing was asked by Pascal Terrasse, president of the conseil général of Ardèche to Nathalie Kosciusko-Morizet, current Minister for Ecology, Sustainable Development, Transport and Housing Pascal Terrasse evokes exclusive licenses for mines hydrocarbon "detection" granted by France to American companies. He reminds Hydraulic Fracturing process, and the chimical high dangers linked . He also speak about the "experiment returns coming from US" as they arouse the greatest alarms. Nathalie Kosciusko-Morizet Reply that her attention had already been pointed out by the dangers of the fracking technics. She affirms that authorization to exploit Shale gas as done in USA will never be given where "dangerous techniques, environmentally destructive therein used" ...... Why do I have the feeling that a lot of talented grown-ups are busy recreating their childhood cartoon favorites this weekend? I've decided to 'caricature' some friends as practice/learning in Artisan. I'll post when I'm worthy.

Hi, Also, we consumers are not blameless in these states. Everyone must start with yourself and think about his consumption behavior. It is easier to complain about these evil corporations than to think about his own behavior. If we would restrict all our consumption behavior, some of the problems would take care of itself. Everything else is just hypocrisy. And this applies not only for meat production. Charly

Thanks for the comments, everyone! Nola, you're dead on with most of your analysis. This quote: @unknownuser said: I think Maclean finally realized that the world doesn't revolve around the Terrans, but that life or the means for its continuation should never be taken away from a person(s) simply because they are seen as different than us. Maybe Maclean was right. Maybe we are in a bit over our heads. Maybe we all are depriving life from another thing. Maybe we all could learn from the Aliens. Maybe...but now it's too late. It's not right! Is exactly the point of my story. I had originally planned to just end with the irony that water, which is life to us, is death to them. But then I thought, "Wait a minute. Nobody ever asks what happens to the aliens--they're always just portrayed as the villians and everyone is happy when they are defeated." So I decided to make them more sympathetic characters. And I think you're right, too, about how Maclean would have felt about the death of Ren'Tikdanak if he hadn't been affected by the lack of water. He was a lot more sympathetic towards the aliens at the end of the story. The reason why I didn't write about what he went through after he drove the aliens insane is probably because he wsa slowly going batty himself. I really didn't know how to write like a person who's half-conscious and delusional for lack of water (as I've heard that's what dehydration does). 10 days is the maximum time a person can live without water, so he had to be in pretty bad shape by the time the supply ship arrived! And I'd love to see the rest of your analysis! Joshua, I'm glad you enjoyed the story. I think that the only way Maclean could have been made to look at Terrans from his new point of view is if the alien's mind-probe influenced him. I don't really think that it would have been realistic any other way. Nola, do you do any writing? Your analysis was quite masterful! Thanks again for the comments! --PinkSkink

i actually did this for three weeks. half was done in vietnam then i went to kuala lumpur to finish it. This was my last project because when the economic crisis struck asia, all of property development were stopped in malaysia. my salary was also cut into half becuase the ringgit was devaluated from 2.5 to 5.0 against 1 USD. I left this company in 2000 and after a decade this project finally took off. I still follow what's happening through my former colleagues. Here are some current photos the site is in the golden triangle and its quite near with Petronas tower as you can see on the photo. Nice idea but you'd be constantly wiping fingerprints off of every surface - and just how much power would all that eat up?
