I do not have a smart phone, it matches me for stoopid and I use it as a phone only. I am sure there are folk here with a Whyphone who can describe the process. I found this with a brief search. https://support.apple.com/en-gb/guide/iphone/iph864a938de/ios

..so i finally got this card sent out last week.. and obviously this is 'good', but i've heard from some friends that lots of people (obviously not in the 'know') think its just a photo! haha..obviously that is a compliment, but still.. then it misses the point...i figured putting my logo on the ball would seal the deal that it was a rendering..haha

Anyone have any suggestions regarding this? Im far from "good" with Kerkythea, or even at modeling, and am always looking for tips on this stuff.

Brothers, and Sisters, Jack back on the Donkey attack -- or drink from a natural born "bubble" hose. Modelhead, your on it, so keep the vise tight, and don't forget to bring it. Bring it hot, and bring it home. Remember back in the way back when this SU action was so new and on? The juices bare knuckle bloody -- yet to run clear? Yeah, we had love then, love with sex attached. Now? Not to much, perhaps, and the sex has been reduced to "scratchy mitten" pulls and push punches -- for me at least. Sad. So yeah, I found this awesome collaboration recently -- who made the rocking motor rod again? Killer model to be sure. Fire up the grill, it's time for a sandwich. More ahead, I hope, bring back the intercourse -- bring back the Push -- bring back the love. Durant "sad sunday" Hapke [image: NHiS_S.YEDI.LAUNCH..jpg]

The render is very cool! The feeling is kinda spooky though. Not sure I'd want to go up to that house on Halloween. I love the way you have a light source catch the faces near the tops of the taller set of curved vertical posts. Most enjoyable. Thanks for sharing. Fred

Nice work. Would like to see it from different angles and not in xray.

Well, to me the three spheres more or less seem to be at the same distance so blurring them so much does not really give the DOF but rather an effect to emphesise the red ball (that's the only sharp object in the scene) even more.

yes, stuart, i agree. there is no universal recipe. sometimes, after "correcting" a view, i find myself moving it a little bit so that it gets out of what seems to be a straight jacket. my suggestion works fine for many situations but certainly not for all. regards.

@gaieus said: Too bad that mods are often not taken for also just "members" who can share their ideas without being "badged" and weighed as expressing some "official" standpoint of the forums. I too think this a bad thing...I have grown to respect and value the thoughts and opinions of most of the mods here, and wish/want their involvement in threads could/would be as "lively" as they (the ones I respect, at least :`) choose. But the truth of the matter is with the power to invoke change comes the possible presumption of an implied "scold" or evocative threat. Unfair, but true. There must be a way for you guys to "put-down" that lerking fear before it grabs the minds of us commoners...? I do hope you find and implement it soon, I really would like to hear more of/from some of you!

Mike, Thanks so much for the feedback. Much appreciated. I'll play around with styles a bit on the next one, good suggestion. Regarding materials. I propose nothing. I have no idea. If pressed I'd say extruded aluminum, plastic, fiberglass, wood, concrete and stone, but since I never expect one of these things to be built I'm not particularly worried about it. I'm just having fun playing with the shapes. Fred

Thanks guys for all your input. I am actually rendering this at some pretty crazy settings right now over the weekend. I will post the image on monday. As far as the wall texture I would never do it on the ceiling. I hate popcorn ceilings and they have really come out of fashion too. I will post the texture on monday for you though. Scott

Nice clean looking design. I like the presentation (3rd image), that is a nice way to see the house within the surroundings. Scott

Ahhh, thick walls, something like this I suppose. It just takes more time, and when I'm experimenting with new design ideas (aka sketching) it's a detail I feel can be left for future iterations.
