These are all Podium renders, the figures are made in Man-maker and/or Poser, the Bots are made in SU and the scene are compiled with SU.

Solo,
You have really done some interesting, different work here. The bot is most impressive! How long did it take to model him up and did you have some diagrams, or did you do it from a toy or images?? very cool. The render with all the nodules of rust or dirt on the bot (he's by himself) looks really cool - maybe too much dirt/bump - but it looks really realistic, especially if it was scaled back a bit. Pretty amazing stuff - well done and very different.

Solo, these are rad! I love the bots! Makes me really want to build one now...

Thanks y'all
Shaun, I sourced my ideas from pictures and trailer screen captures of the upcoming Transformer movie, they took about a day (4hours) to complete. I always wanted to be a cartoonist but ended up listening to the folks and ended up an Arhitect (probably for the best) It was actually Monsterzero that inspired me to try my hand at it again, as I got a link to his site a month or so ago and even signed his guestbook, with awe I might add.
I realy do enjoy doing these but they do take much time to build, time unfortunately not an asset I have an abundance of. below is a shot of a bot during SU build. -
Hi Solo,
Not only on the Podium forum but also here: you always impress us with wonderful imagery. It's just amazing how exquisite your SU modeling skills are.
Also your character building is awesome.
I would love to see you in action while you are modeling these kind of things...seeing is learning. Thanks for sharing Hippie!

Biebel
Thanks for your comments.
Long time no see, Come by the Podium site sometime and drop a few Biebel renders, after all you are still the render master and a few of the newbies need to see how it's done.
