Good thread - like seeing the different styles/rendering engines. My attempt with Lumion. Left all the original materials.
(edit: forgot to post the stats - scene setup time approx 30-40mins. render time approx 7 secs. No post work)

And here's the corrected version.
The benefit of having all elements on their own layer means its easier to change colours.
nice. much better.

Attached is a first attempt at a cherry blossom garden. The colours are not quite yet there but I'll try again and upload later.
nice david. but why the autumn colors for the large mature trees? Cherry trees blossom in spring.
david you are quite the expert with sunset, rain, and dusk runders...excellent post work as always! You really know how to add a lot of life/realism to a flat dull render.

Attached are 2 more renderings. The first is a new image with some new materials and different lighting. The second is a revision of the image previously uploaded but with the overall tonal values revised as I felt the original was too blue.
David I cant decide which one I like better. They are both excellent. Great evening lighting on the first one and very convincing foreground on the second. You've managed to get "emotion/feeling" into the render. I like it.

Hi everyone, this is my first post here on the forum.
I'm a landscape designer here in Australia & this is a project where i changed my workflow to do all the concept design in 3D first.
The last image is of the actual site & the first being the 3D design which was created in Sketchup pro 7 & rendered in Vue Infinite 9.
I know i have a lot to learn from you all & appreciate your feedback.Regards from Oz.
Zonecs
zonecs that first image has good composition just needs a little shadow/highlight adjustments
same thing for the second one you posted. just a little too dark. but i do like that sunlight effect you got on the left side. very nice morning look.

Great as always Marco. Particularly great is the texturing in my opinion. I think that's what really sells it. As well as a beautiful home and great backyard design. I just hope no one has too much to drink and accidentally sits down on the fire seat.
thanks adam! i put in a lot of work for the texturing. and i hope no one has too much to drink while partying and shifts/tips over the couch near the pool

Great work! The animation is very successful. Does Lumion animate the clouds, water and the fire?
Rick - yes all are animated by lumion. Water and clouds have many customizable values. The fire is a pre-animated model included in lumion's library when you get the special effects plugin - they have 16 different variations of fire included in that plugin pack.
excellent rangerrick! could definitely be mistaken for a photo. i demoed twilight last year but havent checked it out recently. Hdr lighting came out very well.
