I’m looking for a developer to help create a custom Component importer.
I want to assign the code to a custom button using the ‘Custom toolbar’ plugin.
The importer only needs to be very simple and have larger thumbnails than the standard Sketchup importer. It should link to a saved folder and also have sub folders contained within which can be opened (but access to higher level folders should be restricted).
If anyone can help please advise costs.

I did try that (with a couple of different converters) but the image I got didn't have clean lines. I tried exploding the resulting model and then making joining lines in shapes I wanted to be solid but I couldn't get it to work.

This is a link to where the file is stored, its the highest res I have....
Would anyone be kind enough to help convert this PNG file into a skp model so I can give it some thickness. I have tried several times to install the plugin and download Java but with no success.
I just need this one image converting (The white background should be removed).
If you anyone can do it for me I would be much appreciate it.

I tried installng Java again from the link you sent and it’s totally crashed my laptop (blue sceen bitlocker error); I’ve taken it to a specialist this afternoon and I’m going to have to make a fresh install of the operating system so will lose all my files.
This is going to cost me significant time and money.
Please be aware before recommending anyone else to do this.

I have re-installed Java using the link which you sent and I can see it's been installed in my 'Program Files (x86)' directory.
But still nothing appears when I try to change it as the deault app or when I right click an icon and select 'Open With'.
Do you think my system may be blocking it somehow?

I have installed Java from the link you provided although it's not showing on my apps list (I have restarted my laptop but still can't see it).
I found a .jar file in my directory but I couldn't see the option for 'open with' in the context menu.
I tried changing the default app for .jar files on the general 'change default apps' settings page, but Java is not showing as an option.
I can't see what I am doing wrong with the installation - please can you advise?

I am having the issue where Edge Trimmer opens a zip file by default. I have installed Java and tried to change the default app for .jar files to be Java, but it doesn't show on my standard list of Apps despite having just installed it. I have rebooted my laptop but I still can't find it.
I have tried reading all the other comments in the thread but its a bit too much information and way above my head - can you let me know if there are some specific things I do to try and resolve it?

Here is my first project using animator. Thanks Fredo for making this excellent and easy to use plugin...
As an up date to this, I have just made another test video from the same animation but just a 1.5 second clip with about 80 frames, and it saved ok in the correct output folder. The MOV and MP4 files have saved fine. (All the PNG files vanished again but thats not a problem if the video file has saved).

I just used Animator for the first time yesterday and picked it up quite easily and made a fist animation. However I then tried to generate a video exporting to MP4 files but I can't locate the finished file. There were over 4000 frames and I could see it saving individual PNG files to the specified output folder as it processed (it took around 6 hours to process these). At the end the black pop up window appeared with the C prompt. However after that all the PNG files vanished in the output folder and all that was left was a text file 'ffmpeg_log_mp4' but no video file anywhere.
Please can someone help me with this, either to advise where I can find the finished film file or let me know if it looks like there has been an error.
