Ive been using fur for a while ...with good results, and just loving it!!
However I've struck a problem as in the attached....it seems to be the cut off angle that is upsetting the geometry.....if I try a square or rectangular plane it behaves normally.

No your right Remus.....I can see it now....after profuse apologies Kevin knuckles down to producing what are eventually fantastic car concepts...his post count tops 5000 in less than a year....and as a reward he is made a Global Moderator at the age of fifteen!!!

(I'm sure Csaba could run a quick IP check and rule out Sweden or Australia as a source anyway).
His IP address in on his guestbook at his site. from all the info he's givin, including name, town/city (from IP address, not the lie about new york), E-mail,(I think age; Imagebucket account is kev1995) and more, I think we can saftley say he's not a conspiracy
kev1995?....gee he's younger than I thought....I would have guessed he was at least fourteen.
And thanks Jackson
....as I mentioned before I just dont have the imagination let alone the time to have invented Kevin......but while on the subject of bumping...the Automotive Gallery is showing no signs of improving. Its probably neither here nor there to most people but I'm not bothering to post there until some serious restructuring is done to the gallery.
Your right, a kid. But leave a kid in a room with a tin of paint and a brush and he can make quite a mess.
Kevin thrives on attention ...positive or negative...and he got heaps of it here.
He's already started another thread in the gallery....you guessed it...the beginings of a car.
I really think it would be good to leave him to his own devices and stop engaging him as we did here.
And let the moderators come up with their own solution for Kevin's habit of continual and mass thread bumping.
Pete, I can only speak for myself but I wouldn't be interested.
If Im looking to render a PR image in a 3D environment, I'd take advantage of the 3D aspect. And even when using cutouts you can still get a reasonable overhead angle.
I have a LA friend who used to do plan-view stuff in SU and had a quite a few non PR top view plants components....the results were nice, but I was left wondering 'why bother?'.....going from 3D to 2D.
And these days, with Face-Me Pngs and Tiffs, the problem of large 3D component size seems to have been overcome.
And there is this already... http://imagecels.com/Plants/planview_plant_images_for_CAD.html
WTF????
Acording to News.com.au, WTF means Weird True Freaky .... http://www.news.com.au/weirdtruefreaky/
So it cant be all that bad...
And this thread sure has been Weird and Freaky.....but not all that truthful.
Ahhh WTF.....Yeah, my name's Kevin too...LOL LOL LOL LOL
[And as you can see I'm proudly showing off my new Kev Av]

Chris
copied and pasted, word for word....the only thing that has been changed is the colour [to protect the identity of the original poster]
BTW Alan....I'd hate to see some LOL [little old lady] who has been caught short, trying to reach the loo on top of the blue Smart car....or do they provide a rope ladder?
OK..Well, Cesso Concept Cars has a nice ring to it!!
You know...in the back of my mind...I always thought 'Comodita' was Italian for toilet
Wow!!! ..he's got his own site!!....and its got a forum.....maybe we should all log on and leave comments like......LOL,
, wtf?
I dont know....he's been getting quieter here each day recently. Maybe he's got another interest?...Lego maybe?.....or perhaps he's just friggin tierd of the forum.
He thinks its funny...I do too
Starting to find my range now..I feel if I can get it up to twenty or so, it will be ...Mission Accomplished!!
Smartie!!....but it only counts if you shout 'dog!' each time you throw
OK, heres a chance for everybody to have a go....without getting bones broken and chucked in an Iraqi prison.
And Ive got to say he's pretty good at dogging and weaving....but I guess we know that already.
My first score was a miserable 2

Kevin, I just noticed a trend, do you get online as soon as you get home from school everyday?
Today: 3:46
Last week
Friday: 3:36
Thursday: 3:40
Wednesday: 3:34
Tuesday: 3:44
Monday: 3:44Just an observation, I suggest getting some homework done first however.
My guess is that his mother only allows the KiD a certain amount of internet time each day
Eh, quarantine?....this forum's equivalent of Ebola is in the wild already
