Great stinkie! Can wait to see the final version of those interior images! I think it's a smart thing that you played first with the clay materials, creating the lightning as you wish, and then apply the final materials! I think that's the way professionals do they work too!

RE: Living-room Bar
Thanks for comment, guys!
@ steelers- in deed, the floor it's very good, and I used a 'normal' map for bump. I was surprised to see how nice result I get with that.
@ Daniel- very good eyes! I have to scale the stools, my mistake! Thanks for the observation!
@ Jakob- sometimes yes, you are right! Thanks for comment! -
RE: Mind Blowing
Welcome! Don't be disappointed, it's a hard long road to the perfect rendering, but not impossible. Most important thing, is to post as much as you can, and don't be shy to ask.
Regarding your renders, using hdri, it's a great thing to do. But you will get more effect, if you have shiny materials in the scene. You have some tile's over your robot, and I don't think the best material for that. You can find some basic materials, and you should use them( vray materials\scene materials\import new material). Put some metal, some paint, and you will see the difference!
Good Luck! -
RE: My latest image
Lovely work Jan! What's the rendering time, and what it's your approach regarding the lightning technique?
I am too a v-ray user, and I'm never satisfied with my results...always looking for tips!

RE: Hypershot Again
Yes, it's great! But I have a problem too; most of my work it's about furniture, and basically, I work allot with interior scenes....and beside that, I have v-ray But it's funny , amazing, easy to use.
Have fun! -
RE: Far Cry 2
Nice game indeed, but IMO, STALKER-Clear Sky it's the most atmospherically game I've ever seen! Only if I had the hardware to play it

RE: Hypershot Again
Dear Durant, I have a big problem when I try to understand your English, but I'm happy, because now, you will struggle yourself to understand mine
First of all, it's the most friendly program that I used so far...all you have to do is to open one model(lot's of formats here), and....done! If you seat back at this point, you will definitely get something on the screen. But, the most important thing, is to have good models (detailed), and good materials. The program came with his own library with basic materials like wood, glass, metals, paint, plastic, velvet, etc. You can apply your own textures, creating an "general" type of material, but you have to map some textures in other program( sketchup or other), before bringing the object In hypershot. Then you can shift, tile the texture, you can use bump( better with normal maps), specular maps, and yes, it has alpha channel, but I don't use it so far...I guess it's working, because there are some "meshes" in the library. And yes, you have "including alpha channel" when you render.
It's a "product render" program first of all, and you can use not only HDRI in the background. Simple jpeg's will do the job. And the object, still looking like it's seating on your background image!
If you didn't check the home page of this program, check this link( for video tutorials) and you will find things that my English didn't let me to express myself.

RE: Lada 1600
Wonderful prince! I have to find our national car(old version). I think it's a very bad looking car...and still can be found on the streets, if you believe it!

Hi Jacob! I think Ray is waiting for your shots too! SHOT!
Ray, this it's the site where you can download a trial: http://www.bunkspeed.com/hypershot/index.html
You should download the mustang model with all the materials, then save it, and used them on your cars!
Good Luck! -

RE: Hypershot Again
Thanks for comment, guys! The reflections of the kitchen materials are wrong in deed . I just used my textures, and apply some reflections( wrong).
Adam, glad to see your renders! The amount of details it's outstanding, when you have the right model and materials! I just 'study' now the materials that we have in hypershot, and I think that should give me a good start in understanding how this materials works! I just wish to find much more.
