RE: ...renderings + photos of built space...
First images are looking good, but the second one's are better. Your progress it's obvious! If you aiming photorealism, of course!
Good job -
RE: My Ford inspired WIP
Looks nice Rogue, I'm very curious if you will have details on the tires as well. And what will be your approach, in order to model a 'good looking' tire. I know how it's done in 3ds max, but I can't imagine what should be in sketchup ( the technique).

RE: Oriental + African
Awesome Nomer! How did you applied the textures on the masks, before or after you used the ruby?

RE: Dirty Renders
The QMC it's the most precise algorithm, but noisy as well. I use QMC for product render, and when I render a scene, I use light cache. Of course IM as primary engine. And like mister batman here said, it's the best combination..I don't know why. Jakob, I was trying to be funny, if I'm not, I apologize.
I'm not so good at English humor.
Ooh..Tim, you should project the texture of that cloth material over the bed.NEVER put lights in the back of your camera. The render will look dull, flat.
The render it's good, watch the geometry, watch the texture, and you are fine. The colors and the general mood looking good . -
RE: SketchUp All The Way+update
Thanks Nomer, another issue from me, I know that too. I have allot of reflections, basically in all materials, and with 'standard' subdivisions, I still got a very long render time @ 7 hours, with an 2.8 processor, and 2 GB Ram. I'll try to render again, this time better I hope!

RE: SketchUp All The Way+update
Thanks for the observations guys, I know I've got issues, and thanks to you I'll try take care from now.
Tim, you have so right about that step, it looks strange in deed, thanks for pointing me that mistake.
Stinkie, I don't use PP, but you have good eyes, like Kwisten. In deed , I used Catmull Rom and I'm really happy when I get 'techy' posts, in fact it's all that a newbie like me can desire.By the way Kwisten, what antialiasing filter should I use for interiors
Thanks to all, Cheers,

RE: Getting back into SketchUp - AK-74 model

RE: SketchUp All The Way+update
Thanks for comment guys, you are very kind. I was struggled to make my renders looking good, so I was let the modeling part away...but thanks to this community, I'm getting back to the basics.
@ Daniel- I use v-ray.
I render right now a close-up look of the scene, and I just noticed that I forgot to bevel the edges of the stairs -
SketchUp All The Way+update
Hello, this it's my first scene 100% sketchup, where I try to recreate a image that I like. But the main goal was to see how I can handle to model an entire scene, without importing 3d models.
C&C are welcome,

RE: Chair
Thanks Jakob, I'm pleased, but something is wrong, if you look at the seat, you will see that it's something wrong with reflections, and I noticed after I smooth that surfaces. First I made the material white, and that issue was obvious. That's why I made that material darker, and I used one black and white HDRI for reflections.Excuse my English...it's not my first language

RE: Chair
no Ande, I don't, but I wish!
I only want to improve my modeling skills, and I tried to reproduce an Herman Miller office chair. -
RE: Chair
Thanks for support Nomer! Of course I'll finish it, but what next??? I promised that I'll model my entire scene, and I only have one stair and one chair....well...I have to make something more...but I'll finish it no matter what!
