Yes, it's beautyful.....and very easy to do, as far as I remember.
I just don't get it....WAY WAY all the apps has to be brilliant just a half....I love vray, but I love mental ray materials as well....I love hypershot for product rendering, and I love rhino for his curves, and sketchup for being so easy to use....I love modo because it fitting like a glove for a real modeler...
Ooh...well

Fred, you still have v-ray, right? Why don't you try to render this one with it, because,6 hours it's just too much.
I bet you can do better materials too. -

This one was the first image that shock me....somehow. It has a story, and maybe it's a message(political), but who cares, this kid made this beauty, to show "his muscles" as he said, and he think it's not finished...
I think that is the essence of 3d.
I had more links, but I let other guys to post too
Adam, this was a good idea. We all have idols, or favorite renderings to share. Ooh...this is the link for the image:

RE: Amazing and Inspiring 3D Renders
The name of the artist is Stanislav Orekhov
In fact, I think that his interiors are way more realistic. I believe he use already made 3d models, but, the scenes seams to be way beyond any interior visualization I came across.
this is his site( and his associates I think): http://www.d-e-s-i-g-n.ru/ -
RE: My Works-WIP-
Yes, it's better.
By the way, I'm still putting my renders on your "put your simple render here". -

Oli, Nomer is not a guru....Nomer is T H E _ P R O F E S S O R.
Nomer, when I had the demo version, I have never dreamed that Hypershot will "do" interiors....never ever!
I think it's pretty darn good. Congrats! -

Here you also have the entire scene for dld. -
RE: My first V-ray render
Well, it's not obvious, but some screen-shoots of your vray settings will help us to figure what could be done. Basically, it's about sampling, but could be many "tiny" things.

RE: Big White House - Marcio Kogan
Well...I'm not really an expert, but I learned allot from the forum, and it seams that these two "guys" makes a better job together. I always had success removing the bright pixels in this way.
Cheers! -
RE: My first V-ray render
The mood it's awesome. You could make the shadows softer(GI/Skylight/M/Sky- search sun size, and make it 4 or 6)but not necessarily
Congrats! -
RE: Big White House - Marcio Kogan
Awesome! A little observation: you have bright pixels over the chrome objects. Go to "color mapping" and check "clamp output" and "sub-pixel".

RE: Big White House - Marcio Kogan
Roberto, that's a very expressive house. Try to bring more light inside, maybe some rect. lights (invisible, only with affect diffuse checked, and without shadows from them). The reflection of exterior glass it's simply amazing.

RE: Big Robots and other stuff
Liam, awesome works, congrats! I think you should post them in gallery section.
