I really need to import this into sketch up because i need to make a 3d model of it.

If it is not in vector format just convert PDF to image and import it in SU for manual tracing. You will first have to scale it to original size with Tape measure tool though.

Interesting. Everything is ok when rendered using Thea. No edges. It is about SU export.

I solve the mystery!
Thea studio itself was set to run in compatibility mode. So, when I changed that to normal, it works from SU.

You mean why I haven't done it from the beginning? I don't know. Doing it now doesn't solve my problem.

The Compatibility mode was the way I tried to solve the problem. It worked with Thea studio, but settings were all default. Thanks for making my drag and drop functional again...after so much time I haven't used it
I tried to install Sketchup as administrator with repair option, I also installed Thea and Thea4SU plugin as administrator. Drag and drop is working, but Thea studio stiil doesn't want to start from Sketchup...??

I have a problem. I installed SU 2017 as regular user, and spent some time setting it in my way. But, Thea render studio can not be executed from regular user Sketchup. It needs to be administrator. So I made SU start as administrator, but now all settings are default again. Is there an easy way to transfer the settings from user account to admin account? It could also be useful to have a back up of them for easy moving between different computers, or for moving to new version.

Even if it's not the same you can mirror the geometry and than sample the texture from it.

This is from G Earth Pro which is free. You can use it and put your models in there, but you can not get models out from it...at least for us mortals, which Mr. Whaat obviously is not.
