Ross,
You are doing an excellent job with the Podium render system. Keep it up because every time you post you inspire me to try to get Podium to work for me.

Wow Boo, I'm now getting really jealous. Ross is kicking out some great podium work and now here come Boo man. I started testing again last night but nothing special I'll have to post some results soon. Love this image, Moody!
you have done a great job on these images Mateo. they look really nice, I want to be wherever they are that is for sure.
I would love to be able to claim these images as my first render's. Very nice!
I love it. I think the modeling is awesome, and I really like the way you present the first image over the UI, looks very nice. The character is cool to.
The bikes are nice, I like. I like mountain bikes in the first place, having models of them are way cool.
Here is the scariest one of them all, oh my my. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zAfQwDiz%20...%20ed&search=
I like this topic. I have had several discussion with several different people about this very thing. I really love a quick sketch for dumping an idea, I would love to be able to sketch better and faster than I currently do.
I'm really taken in by the quick sketches of an idea, they have a certain quality about them that leaves some to the imagination and at the same time very informative. This topic made me think of a book an associate of ours wrote called Rapid Vis Toolkit which is a great book for helping to understand how to quickly visualize ideas and also the organization of ideas. Pretty fun stuff!
Edit: I still need to read the white papers, they look informative.
I liked it. I thought it was informative. Nice work Coen! I definitely like the idea of the interview and the spotlight, I like to see what cool stuff others are doing with SU.
This is great work considering you're just starting, keep it up.
I don't know what it is about detailed drawings like this, but I absolutely love them. I have been wanting to do some type of a detail drawing in sketchup like this for a while now. Well, I'm going to now, this has inspired me. Great work!
I like it Ross. I think you have done an excellent job. I'm trying to do the same with some of my models using Podium and I'm struggling. My model colors render all whack, I'm not doing so well with Podium. I want to do something like what you have done, Nice!
I have to agree with Kannonbal. Sketchup really does seem slow to progress. Not to take away from the "Killer" tool that it is, since Sketchup has truly caused for my 3D abilities to be where they are today. I have to admit that I'am disapointed that Sketchup does not seem to progress with the times. There seems to be so many 3rd party application that have come out since V.6 and have continued to pregress when SketchUp has not. I just want to get excited for some new Sketchup stuff.
These are inspiring me to get something done with Podium. I recently purchased, but have had no time to play around with it, soon, very soon I'll have to get some stuff going. Nice work.
Solo, this is one impressive image for the amount of time you were able to spend on it. I love it.
This looks great, I like it. The exploding effect looks really good.
Tom,
I really like the colors you have used, they are softer and not so overbearing. These look great!
AWESOME! Congratulations Graig. Good move Google. Graig, you're always a huge help around here with SketchUp. Thanks!
Well thanks guys, I really thought I had tried that before, but I never did because I thought it always would say "Save As" instead of "Save Link As". For some reason i thought that "Save Link As" would save the internet address. Thanks again. I should have known better.
