...You know, the one that Cheffey modeled the other day

Thanks for that Iphone Cheffey ! You have very good modeling skills.I gave the Iphone a spin using PODIUM.
Here are the results. I hope you like them.
The chrome should look a bit more 'brushed' but Podium doesn't have real 'glossiness' control (yet).

.And a second: People should not let their expensive toys wander around like that

This is how the scene was set up in Sketchup for that last rendering.
Exploded top view:

Four identical 'cut-out' images were placed around the Iphone to get some environment reflections .

One word: amazing,
Makes me want to have one even more Razz

These are inspiring me to get something done with Podium. I recently purchased, but have had no time to play around with it, soon, very soon I'll have to get some stuff going. Nice work.

Nice work! I love the reflection maps! ...that's the first thing I look at when I see pictures or renders of cars/motorcycles/appliances/gadgets etc...
Very nice!

Biebel, i downloaded the Podium Trial version and got good results. I'll post them over on the component thread thank you for the heads up. Soooo much easier than Maxwell.

I like podiums simplicity, but it lacks a few things that all Photoreal renderers need. things like bump-maps, HDRI lighting, soft lighting, and fuzzy reflections. I can't wait until these features are added, because podium is really onto something (along with RPS, which has a couple of the features listed)
That said, what you have done is amazing, great work!
