Old topic but I hope somebody can help me. I ticked off foreground in styles, and it shows fine in skp. But when I render in vray, my model looks transparent (or it has foreground on, result is the same).
Only thing I din in V.ray is put my background photo in background slot, placement type:place, UWV-Environment-screen. Bacground renders fine but why is foreground on?
I was also wondering about that and then found out the solution myself while searching this forum. It is about Vray settings, not the SketchUp Styles. You need to go to Environment under the Vray Settings and turn the GI on. It worked for me. Hope it works for all of you out there too. Stay safe!
I am having the same problem.
I can create videos with animator, which means I have got working "films" in the animator. I can render my scenes in Vray. When I open the generator tab of the animator, I am able to see the Vray option and I can do my settings accordingly. So everything is fine so far. However, when I generate a video I get an 18 seconds video of the very first image. Nothing is moving. Does anyone happen to know why?
Thanks in advance.
Edit: Actually I tried it with another model file, which is very basic, and it worked. But still can't make it on my real file.
Any comments? Really need to handle this job.
Thanks again
Hi everyone. I need a very urgent help. This is my first post on this forum. If you can help me I will be very glad. Thanks in advance.
I had done several short animations with Vray before, but despite following the same steps, something is going wrong, I do not understand why. The steps I follow are from Vray's own site:
the https://docs.chaosgroup.com/display/vray2sketchup/basic+animatio
My problem is that I can not save the Light Cache and Irradiance Map. Even though I click the save button, I couldn't find the .vrmap and .vrlmap files in where I saved them. I've tried the same steps many times. I could succeed to save them in one of my trying, but that time Vray just rendered the first scene again and again.(It normally should render and save each scene one by one) So, please help I do not like to say "urgent" but unfortunately, it is urgent
