No, it is a very complex design. I should have it finished with'n the next day or so. I'll add a link then.
Thanks Ray
I would very much like to do so but I wouldnât really know what to do. If you have a design in mind or one of your own then feel free to share, Otherwise, I will try to come up with something
After two attempts and many, many hours it is finally finished.
It is the 5 spoke alloy in Thunder Storm Grey with machined face from the FPV F6 R Spec.

Sorry Ray for sort-of hijacking this part of the topic but ...
The Great Wall car manufacturer in China is like the GM of China. It produces all sorts of look-alikes and old cars with new faces and gives them all sorts of badges.
Like what GM is doing with the Volt concept. Yes, they are even re-badging their concepts now and we can tell where thatâs heading. The Volt is just a Honda Accord design with some fancy grilles; they built the concept under Chevrolet, Holden and Opel. Hey...One for each region. So I guess they will have, yet another, midsized sedan to re-badge under the 3 or more and it will continue to not make them any money.
Gm is trying to make itself look big by doing this and all its doing is making it look stupid and loosing it lots of money.
Thatâs my rant finished for now...
I think, if the American auto market recovers (GM crashes), Ford should think of replacing some of its s__t models with the European and Australian Fords.
The Falcon would be a great car for the yanks to replace their big, pointless pick-ups and sedans and would move the Holden-Ford war to the US to kick whatâs left of GMs (Pontiac G8) arse in the sports sedan and Ute market.
The Focus would replace the, honestly s__t, American Focus and the Mondeo, the Fusion.
If only I had some real say in these things the auto market would be better off... Hmm'
Oh, BTW. Here is the âshort listâ of what "pies" GM has its hands in
-GMC
-Chevrolet
-Pontiac
-Holden
-Daewoo
-Saturn
-Honda
-"Great Wall" of China Motor Company (has about 10 subsidyâs that produce the same GM cars. I cant find all their names as most are all Chinese)
-Vauxhall
-Opel
-Buick
-Cadillac
-Breckland
-SAAB
-Hummer
-Wuling
-Isuzu
-Suzuki
-SsangYong
-Fiat
Counting those other 10ish there is at least 5 others (such as Wuling) I know they make and own that are sold in Asia.
If anyone can add to my quick list, as I canât be bothered, please feel free.

Guess what I have been making.
Jag XJ...?
Close but no, the pic is of the S-Type.
I'll post some more when I get around to doing a bit more.
Here is a little preview of the FPV F6 R-Spec Typhoon 5 Spoke wheel.
Itâs one of the best looking wheels, in my opinion

That would be nice maybe GMC since its going out of business lol
well noone is sure of that yet
If I were you Ray I would even think of giving GM any help. If you did youâd probably see your design under about 6 different badges. I hate GM and do hope it collapses; it sure looks like it will. I only hope that the better car brands survive to be picked up by some wealthy fan (such as Chevy, only because of the Corvette and Camaro)
If GM only had 2 or 3 different brands making different cars (and on platforms that arenât 15 years old) instead of the 20+ it has its hands into then the modern vehicle market would be doing much better. I think the world would be better off if it died. Itâs been flooding the market place with cheap re-badges for years and its getting worse. They own at least 15 brands, that I can name off the top of my head, which make the same cars...WTF GM!
Anyway, good design Ray. It reminds me of the Ford Splash.
Yeah, the renders look really good. Its not quite the same as the base model but is still a stunning modd.
Here is a quick bit of modeling I have done. Guess what I have been making.
Nah, Im using Camtasia Studio 6. It records full resolution of the area selected.
It great!
Here is my latest wheel

I have created a screen recording of this, all that is left now is turning 92 minutes (811MB) worth of video into a 10 minute tutorial...

the Warehouse will end up being a Fortress of Suck...
Thats a good way to put it...
Oh, one more thing....
I havenât been very active in SU lately and wonât be for a little while longer, as I stated before.
I am just planning on finishing and uploading my current projects and maybe some others and thatâs it for me. I donât know how long I will be gone from SU and whether I will be back at all but I won't be far.
SketchUp doesnât seem to be what I want to be doing at the moment, I feel I should be concentrating on other things instead, career maybe.
This isn't my final farewell. Itâs more of a, "I'll be saying, âsee ya later, soon".
