RE: Rogue's W.I.P's!
I use fryrender to make my renders but I just model a ground in the same model as my car in SketchUp. Just make sure its all level with the axis an is set to recieve shadows etc

RE: Rogue's W.I.P's!
I canāt wait to what you do with the model
I have noticed that person too, itās that ((( Ä°LKE ))) person. Apparently the F__k tard is friends with some other person who doesn't like you for some reason.
I don't care for it; he/she he-she is just another weird retard in the warehouse. There seems to be a lot of them and I can't see why. -
RE: Rogue's W.I.P's!
Here is another model encase you havenāt seen it already
http://sketchup.google.com/3dwarehouse/details?mid=d25584d554d3736eb86212fe7a90e1bf&prevstart=0
Itās a performance version of my G-R V8
I hope to see some mods (hint, hint)I am going to have a break from SU for a little while. I havenāt been getting much done on y models and I need to clear my head if I want to get things in perspective.
I am getting a new Force Feedback racing wheel so Iāll occupy myself with GT4 for a while... -

I'm just starting to explore this section of SU so don't be harsh, tell me what you think. -

Is available in the new Ford Falcon. It is the coloured trim
(To edit colour go "in model", select material and click "Create Material..." This will then display a material editing panel)
-Leather
Basic leather material
-Leather 2
Trim leather, for such places as steering wheel and door trim.

have quite high performance computer to get results like that.
Haha. Not quite... Here's the shocker:I use Vista with a 512MB card
Thatās not a lot but you might have a good processor. I have Vista on a 2GB ram module but because I only have a 1.86GHz processor it canāt live up to what the RAM can handle.
My sister has a 256mb laptop but it has a 2.4GHz processor...Itās ridiculous. Itās about 6 years old and its processor is as good as it gets. It can run fryrender fine because it doesnāt take a lot of ram and because it has a really good processor it can get results fast. It can do in about 2 hours what my computer would take 10. Why computers dont come with better processors is beyond me.

Oh and I'm thinking of doing some render work for a few weeks. I'm going to start with the Maverick GT. Should I post them here or send it to you by email?
Feel free to post them here but no one would be able to download them because of the file protection. If you want you can send me a copy so I can add them to my website.
Best of luck

RE: Rogue's W.I.P's!
That is an astonishing looking paint job and that wing just tops it off.
The render looks very crisp; you must be spending a lot of time and effort perfecting the textures and a have quite high performance computer to get results like that.
My renders always turn out really speckled with fireflies even after 10 hours with fryrender. I need a much better computer. I know my model is bottom of its line so I canāt expect that much.Once again, model is looking great, I canāt wait to see it finished.

RE: Rogue's W.I.P's!
Thanks Ray.
Its 4 a.m and im still going.
At this rate SketchUp will be illegal soon... its addictive! -
RE: Green Toaster's Car Sketches
Another model!
I canāt understand how you can keep producing design after design. Although many share similar body shape, there are tonnes of them! If youāre like me, you would keep a repository of models, yours must be over the top.
If you have any spare time feel free to check out some of my latest models:
http://sketchup.google.com/3dwarehouse/search?viewer=02629758583829625845&scoring=dI have been a little more active with SU lately and will be for a while
Once again...

Another wheel
http://sketchup.google.com/3dwarehouse/details?mid=3c321ddfff38e28ec811557dfc014b14
Please download and take a look at the changes from the old D-010 to 25 and 26 before you pass judgement. I have done a hugh amount of work on all three models. The D-010 has basically been re-modeled and, although the 25 and 26 are based on the 10, they are both unique and vastly improved. The 26 has taken me about 3 hours to model so, as you can tell, itās not a simple task.
So what do you think?

RE: Rogue's W.I.P's!
OK, im getting a little board...
Here is another wheel
http://sketchup.google.com/3dwarehouse/details?mid=e6f92c08e37d286fc811557dfc014b14
If you read the model description youāll notice that I have said I will also make the actual Taunus 4 spokes wheels which are quite similar.
What do you think?

I don't undertand that law at all. Rapidshare and Depositfiles can be used perfectly legally to send large attachments that can't otherwise be sent by email
Thats the reason why most New Zealand internet users don't wish for such a law to be enforced, that and the fact they system will be flawed.
