Yes, I do use very high scale models. I work with lots of very detail mesh so there is often the need for high scale modeling. The Cobra itself is about 200,000mm long. If was too much smaller the smaller polys wouldnât appear and I would be able to get close enough to work with them.

RE: Rogue's W.I.P's!
I would love to Ray but there just arenât any good side, front, rear or top views of it. I am only really able to complete your request if I had these. If some do come along then I will be sure to try.

RE: Ray Ochoa- My Car WIPs and final renders
It looks even better with a rear bumper.

RE: Rogue's W.I.P's!
Well, I was going for more of a Racing / Targa / Rally / Drag / Sprint car...

RE: Rogue's W.I.P's!
For now youâll all have to put up with my slightly less excellent cars!

RE: Rogue's W.I.P's!
Thanks again Ray & BTM.
I will try to get some more âgenerally excitingâ models made; first I will need to het to sketching again.
I have had a fair few ideas for cars over the last few months but donât have the patients to make them. I find the more conventional designs are much easier to make but arenât as satisfying in the end.Iâll let you all know how it goes; Iâll try to upload some scans

RE: Rogue's W.I.P's!
Again, thanks Shams
Ok, so no one else is saying anything about the Trojan Cobra still. Come on people, I need feedback.
There have been 25 ratings over the 4 models so far and of that only 7 have had comments....One model has had no comments. I realize that a 5 star says that the people rating it like it (I have seen much, much worse models get 5 star ratings too) but what donât you like or what do you think can be improved.
Thatâs really the only reason I upload my models, that and to share with the small group of SU users that actually care. -
RE: Rogue's W.I.P's!
The Cobra's don't seem to be getting much feedback...
Tell me what you think!
Here is the Fastback V6:

RE: Ray Ochoa- My Car WIPs and final renders
Wow Ray, thatâs an amazing design. The front reminds me of an Ascari KZ1. The motion blur render looks really good but I am not sure those wheels are right for such a modern design. They look as if they belong on an old Coupe or Roadster.
BTW, my Trojan Cobra is done: http://www.sketchucation.com/forums/scf/viewtopic.php?f=81&t=12931&st=0&sk=t&sd=a&start=240

RE: Rogue's W.I.P's!
Well Shams, here is the GT. Itâs the V6 version though, so no powerdome in sight. That will be reserved for the GT V8 and the other higher performance models.
Next models are the Fastback V6 and Fastback GT V6

RE: Rogue's W.I.P's!
Well Shams, technically, no. I have changed a few more things than that;
-Front indicators (added)
-Front bumper revision (smoothed hidden lines, fixed one other problem)
-Front panel revision (fixed one problem)
-Side skit revision (fixed two problems)
-Door revision (changed to a pillar less door)
-Boot revision (added Trojan logo)
-Rear brake lights (added indicators, fixed texture problem)
-Rear bumper revision (removed licence plate recess, smoothed hidden lines, added lower reverse lights, fixed two other problems)
-Changed body colour
-Changed wheelsI had started and had gotten well into making interior and some running gear but decided to abandon it.
So, I suggest you add your modifications to my uploaded model if you wish for them to be current. Feel free do as you please, I insist you modify it.

RE: Rogue's W.I.P's!
Thanks KDS, no I havenât been having any problems.
I have decided to leave out interiors and most other complex details that lead to excessive modeling time in SU; such as Interior. I came to this conclusion after finding that I was never going to finish most of my projects if I continued this way. So, I am not going to have an interior in my Trojan Cobra. The old one didn't have one so I donât see why the new one should. I have started work on it but it has only been minor. I will have interiors on some of my models but not others. I may only try engines if I feel the need to.

RE: Rogue's W.I.P's!
Unfortunately they are only of the digital world. I can only dream of the idea at the moment but thank you for the inquiry any way.

RE: Rogue's W.I.P's!
Well, here it is, finished.

I decided to leave out photo textures after failing with the rear lights.
I hope you like it

RE: Rogue's W.I.P's!
Yes, if I make a wheel I usually have something related planned.
I understand you concern over the photo textures but what I am trying to do is only apply the lights, indicators, etc as textures. I do, however, only apply them to highly detailed mesh to try to reduce any "tacky" look. They are only applied to small areas so the display time for them is very minimal and due to the less than complex mesh detail there are no real concerns. The wheels might slow the model a little but I canât do much for that.
I wanna make a DBS...I wanna, I wanna, I wannaaaaaa!
If you want to make a DBS, feel free, but I intend to try make one anyway if I can. I also intend to make a V8 Vantage, N24, GT4 and N400...maybe...
BTW, thanks for the comment on preferring my models to imports, there are just too much poorly presented and made imports in the warehouse. No one seems to be bothering with making their own models.
I had a look at your B-500GT, mmmm, Gulf livery. It always makes a Mustang, GT40 or Lola look so at home on a race track. Great modd!
I have fixed a problem found with the door and mirror etc. If you compare this image to the other you'll notice the problem just under and infront of the side mirror

RE: Rogue's W.I.P's!
Well, when you love doing it and getting results then you usually get good ones. I try my hardest and spend as much time perfecting these things as I can, thats why my results are so good. But its not an easy thing....

RE: Rogue's W.I.P's!
Ok, so the Falcons are boring people...
How about A DB9?
I have been working on this for a while in private, although I have told one or two people.
I have also decided to try some Photo Textured lights...Should I?
