      Hi,

Have you watched Aidan Chopra's Channel on YouTube?

      Or Go-2-School's Channel?

If you subscribe to these channels you'll be notified of any new uploads and i highly recommend Aidan's 'SketchUp for Dummies' book as a place to learn the basics

      Hope this helps

Yeah , i realised that but felt that there were some good hidden gems in there for textures, lighting, polygonal techniques etc. Especially from a beginners POV, who's trying to find out more with regards understanding rendering and its application

      Changing is appropriate word.

I heard Bill Gates was considering running for Presidency? I don't fancy seeing a Government crash and have to be rebooted 6 times a day and we won't even contemplate the 'Security Issues' 😲

I still prefer google, but i agree that it throws up some erroneous results at times. As for measuring one against the other here's where i compare they're results

Hi, could you upload a pic of the worktop and sink? Even better the model itself so we can see your dilemma.

      Rich

      (Edit)

Remus beat me to it, but like he said it should be straight forward

      try this plugin

you might want to soften/smooth your model first

      also try this plugin

      always remember...your wireless access password

i forgot mine, well kind of, i typed small 'i' instead of 'I' and couldn't connect. Spent 2 weeks trying to sort it out until finally i reformatted and still had same problem.

      My solution...........new laptop!!

Get it home and still no signal, then call ISP and pay for call out. Told to wait 10 working days when the missus plonks her arse down next to me one night ask 'can i try?'

8 keystrokes later i'm €835 out of pocket!

Moral of the story........when you want a new laptop follow the instructions above.....worked for me

i know this is completely useless info, but there was a book i read online about ruby programming that was both hilarious and very easy to understand. From what i remember it concerned 2 little animals( i think ) and lots of strange analogies?

Can anyone think of the name? it's wrecking my head 😠
