He uses a pair of glasses fitted with 2 leds, and the wiimote can pick up the depth of field. There's nothing special about the glasses besides having 2 lights on it. The computer is manipulating the image on the screen based on the feedback from the wiimote. This could potentially be done for any computer application. Yeah - I kind of assumed everybody had watched that one! But it's not even really the technology involved, it's the thinking that intrigues me. I mean the guy is working out of his lounge and he managed to obviously surprise a few in the gaming industry.
