Forgive me if this is a repeat. I am looking for a plugin for SU that will do structural design for both wood and steel beams and/or columns. In the past I have used BeamChek but I have since moved away from a PC to a mac and away from Autocad to SU. Please help!

I need some help drawing site plans for my architectural projects. I have a paper copy of the survey and in Autocad it would be as easy as drawing lines at the appropriate length (XX'-XX") and angle (XXD-XX'-XX"). please let me know if there is a plug-in for this or if its already in sketchup. thanks

I am having trouble getting an interior camera view of my model. I have a model of a residential house and when I get a camera in the position I want I only see a small portion of the model. I am looking to make the view more like what I would see if I where standing in the room. Is there a plugin, setting or something else I could use? I have already tried the 'advanced camera' plugin but that's not working for me. Help!

Hello all. I new here and new to sketchup 8 + layout. I have recently converted to sketchup from autocad and would like to know if there is a way to show hidden lines on my construction plans (in sketchup or layout) that represent items above the cut plane (ie: stairs, door arches, tray ceilings). forgive me if this has been asked and answered already. thanks for the help.
