Never mind - I will redo the changes at the end (so that we are not cross-editing things there). I only mean to do some minor tweaks in the css file anyway. Looking forward to the outcome; these effects are really cool.

A handy tip from a Canadian for next time: Its pretty good (what am I saying its amazing!), but some snow on the cabin itself will look more natural in a scene such as this, honestly it looks like the cabin has just been moved there (by an unknown force...).

I really like the feeling in that last image. But there is something odd about the window reflections, and the lack of any blue in the sky makes it go from cheerful to a littlebit drab.

Nice work but I think it needs some color correction as the trees are very green and do not blend with the overall image. This makes me feel like a video game image. Like I walked through the forest in a first person shooter to find this tree house. Scott

Hi Everybody, I had the same thing with Vue. Downloaded it once but the interface was so confusing in relation to sketchup and let's say Kerkythea, that I didn't try to make a decent render. But when I recently saw some Tutorials at Geek at Play http://www.geekatplay.com/tutorials.php I started to dive into it. Siolo gave me some good pointers. I used Vue 8 Xstream and the render didn't took very long. Thing about 1 hour. Materials are done in SU and most are from CG textures. Hope to post more Vue renders soon. Greetz frm Holland

I'm not sure actually, I can enquire as we have many hobbyist Python scripters around at C3D.

Personally I'd go with whichever gives better performance out of the box. I'm not a big fan of OCing anything, but that's just personal preference. I figure if it isn't good enough on its own merits, why get it? I realize that for some folks, overclocking is just standard operating procedure; but I want my components to last, avoid voiding any warranties, avoid the need for fancy or excessive heat removal components and prevent any instability issues. It may cost me a little more to buy something more current rather than OCing an older component to get the same or slightly better performance, but that's just me. JMO, pick whichever goes faster out of the box.

@pugz1983 said: Hi Everybody, Is there a way to purge all indigo material settings. I've always liked the way Indigo renders, but I hate the Fatal errors. I've searched the indigo forum for answer bu didn't find it. I cant seem to figure out were the error is in my materials so I want to purge all naterial and UV settings. PLease help Greetz from The Netherlands Hi pugz, You can purge Indigo settings using the Ruby Console. Type 'SkIndigo.purge_mats' to purge all your material settings. Type 'SkIndigo.purge_model' to purge all your render settings. I think you can only purge stored UV sets by selecting the faces in your model and then right-click->SkIndigo UV Mapping->Purge UV sets. Sorry to hear that you are getting error messages. I'm not sure what version of SkIndigo you are using but I have been doing a lot of bug-fixing lately. Keep checking the website for the next stable release of Indigo and SkIndigo (2.2) which should hopefully be out in a matter of days. If you could please post the error messages you are getting, that would be a big help. Thanks!

Wow! Great renders. I'm not overly keen on the post processing of the second render but the first one is fantastic.

Mate we have a timber here Turpentine that lasts decades in the water! Actually it's from the tree that makes the now world heritage area - The Blue Mountains west of Sydney actually blue from a distance due to the turpentinian vapour that fills the air and due to scattering of blue light resulting!

Very nice rendering....but why would a person so retentive about keeping the room spotless and neat leave the bed rumpled?
