    • RE: Materials Picker tool on the Sketchup toolbar?

I accidentally stumbled across how to do this when using OSX.

Simply hit "B" for paint bucket (or whatever shortcut you've chosen) then hold down the COMMAND key and it changes to the Color Picker until you release the key.

Different error messages now. See attached. Perhaps it's because I'm running Win8 via Parallels?

Forgive me but I'm a newb who can barely work his way through/around Extensions.

I'm unable to get the MSphysics to load/run. It is registered under Plugins but I receive the following message when I open Sketchup2016. I've tried copying/pasting the "main.rb" file into every imaginable Plugin folder but it still fails to see/find the file.?

(I installed the AMS Library v3.2.2 AFTER I installed the MSphysics extension but the order of installation shouldn't matter, correct?)

      I'm running Win8 via Parallels, SU2016.

    • Protolabs can't use Sketchup SKP files - other suggestions?

Protolabs.com is unable to use SKP files (which is a bit surprising considering the size of the Sketchup community) but I either have to dump my considerable Sketchup learning curve and start over w/ Autocad OR find another prototyping option.

Yes, I could pay someone to convert my files into Autocad but I want to control the entire design process - not have to run back to convert every time I make design changes.

(I'm not looking for 3D printing. I want a CNC cut prototype (plastic) to be followed by production of molds for higher volume of products.)

Has anyone found a prototyper who can use Sketchup 2014 files?
